    I got ran over by a twenty ton farm truck. He ran over the mower deck with the fount and rear wheels, just two inches from killing me. There isn’t a scratch on the mower or the mower deck. It is built like a tank!!!!

    This mower is a supreme machine and it will mow acerage fast and smooth I love mine and it is way cheaper than any exmark on the market and it will not raise up on hill like the exmark fuel consumption is superb indeed smooth ride and supreme cut no scalpo marks what so ever

    One downside i noticed with the 3300 is that if there is a small mound in the yard the deck will bottom out. I didn't notice my cub cadet doing that before. It is almost like it gets high high-centered on the deck and the mound is small. I never expected it to scalp the ground over something that small.

      That’s weird I never had that issue with mine

      @@thelawncarelegend1167 somebody said it is due to not having any anti-scalping wheels on the back on the deck. At the rear of the deck it looks there is a pivot point so there is no way for it to ride on wheels. I have my deck at 3.5 inches

      @@thelawncarelegend1167 I must have a lemon. Had a 4 inch strip of paint peel off the right front caster for no good reason with only about 4 hours. Ferris wants $35 for a can of paint.

      @@thelawncarelegend1167 Do you cut around any mounds? I have heard of this before. The suspension movement can cause this...

    I got a snapper pro 200 xt last year thats a 61" with the 37 vanguard. I gotta agree with you on everything that you're saying. Mine cuts great in dry, damp, and wet grass. I took out the turbo baffle and it cut even better. The guys that cuts the area at my job uses scags and i am not impressed by them. Maybe they are in a hurry.. maybe they need sharper blades.. i don't know. I know that i would put my snapper right there with them.

    Have you leveled your deck? In order to get mine at 4 inches in the front, the right front turnbuckle has almost 1/2 inch more thread showing than the left front.

    At over $18,000 I’m not sure where you’re getting great bang for the buck anymore. Especially for a homeowner that has a lot of acreage.

    There's lots of great machines out there for sure, but Ferris is one of them for sure, iam leaning towards buying isx2200 or 3300 but anyways nice video.

      Thank you and for wide open mowing I definitely think the 3300 is the way to go.

    Have you noticed it not cutting that great? Only have 30 hours on mine and it just misses too much grass in my opinion. Mine has the 60 inch deck and thought about trying some XHT blades but not sure that will make much of a difference. The blades are a 1/4 lower in the front so I don't know what else can be done. Waste of money to not be able to use the mower the way it was designed with the suspension.

    My chute guard will not stay in the up position but i can't figure out what was keeping it up.

    Does this mower do poorly while turning on a slope? Seems like it would compress the suspension on one side and have an uneven cut.

    • @thelawncarelegend1167
      @thelawncarelegend1167  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope it doesn’t the linkage adjusts the deck when the wheels move up and down.
      It’s has the best cut I have seen around my area

    How you liking the little red rocker throttle switch? I think I prefer the classic throttle lever

    My dealer said the isx3300 is way more efficient and will cut more grass than the z3x (same size deck) due to the suspension. What are your thoughts?
    I love Ferris. I have a z1 36” and a 48”. I need a bigger mower, I’m debating on what to get. I’m leaning towards a z2 61” due to it being several hundred pounds lighter. What are your thoughts?

    • @thelawncarelegend1167
      @thelawncarelegend1167  ปีที่แล้ว

      For wide open mowing get the 3300 it will be faster than a Z3x
      If it is tight spots with some wide open mowing get a Z3X in the 61
      I use both mowers on my neighborhood yards that are small and have not had any issues with tearing grass or sinking in wet conditions. As long as your doing your turns good you will good to go.
      If you are getting a stand on I would highly recommend going with the Z3X.
      The Z2 is a good mower but to me it’s worth the extra money to get a Z3X

    What do you use on the heim joints where the manual says to use petroleum chain lube? I thought about using Mystic JT-6 Multi-Purpose Grease. My nephew had a dirt late-model and we used it on the heim joints. Best stuff we ever found because everything else we tried the heim joints would squeak at the end of the race but not with that Mystic grease.

    • @thelawncarelegend1167
      @thelawncarelegend1167  ปีที่แล้ว

      I just use the same grease I use everything else on that’s what my dealer told me to do and is what they do and haven’t had any issues

  • @311hitwall
    @311hitwall ปีที่แล้ว

    I saw a 3300 in person and it doesn't have grease fittings on the front casters. Did you add them? I was looking at the 31 hp engine and if yours bogs with a 40 hp I don't see how a 31 will ever be sufficient.

    • @thelawncarelegend1167
      @thelawncarelegend1167  ปีที่แล้ว

      So on all Ferris equipment and most other brands you have to add the grease fittings to the casters as if you leave them on there they are know to break off. I just leave them on and if they break I replace them.
      As for the motor it only really Boggs when your going full speed through thick tall grass. Normal mowing it never really Boggs down.
