I like Anson's take on Pike. He's so much cooler and laid back then the other actor's portrayal of him. This Pike has a wicked sense of humor. He's also not afraid to ask for suggestions. Plus, he refers to the bridge crew by their first names. No other Captain has done that.
@@jceggbert5 It is Cool! It's like seeing kids in a Candy store sometimes. They are Giddy and Happy to be there, and don't take for Granted their being a part of such an Iconic Franchise. Love it! I enjoyed seasons 1 & 2. Can't wait for Season 3! I could go for a few more episodes per season, but that seems like the Norm now post Covid.
Does anyone know what the significance of the greeting to La'an means? The person greeting her, moves the tip of their pointer finger under their eye then La'an does it back to them. I would love to know the significance of this.
What I just learned is everything they like about their characters is what I dislike about modern trek.....hyoer emotional. I did like the kirk character answer. Last thought, not every character needs to be broken they could just have personality.........

Pike for me is one of the coolest Captains he is for me up there with Kirk, picard, janeway and sisko. I hope he gets much more time!
For me, Pike is the finest! His courage, maturity, leadership, listening skills, humour and empathy combine beautifully. Excellent acting!
