The different parts of the enter[rise is absolutely stunning. The nicer areas for diplomats on our aircraft carriers could take a HUGE lesson.

Two observations - the sense of wonder of exploration is back to a degree not seen since TOS. Secondly the level of affection felt by the cast (and presumably the entire production crew) for the characters and story telling, is palpable.
It should be clear. Captain Pike was the FIRST Captain in Star Trek. In all universes in all ways. Anson Mount is perfect for that. Rebecca romjin. Genius casting. Finally. Back to Star Trek as Roddenberry created it. Positive. Enough of the other goofiness like Discovery. This has the bones to go full-time long-time. Sure hope it does.

she's not goofy. how are you comparing a BW to a WM? the characters have very little in common. i like the relationship she has with Spock and Pike.
Blame the writers.
I'm sick to death of hearing someone talk about ' processing something ' . It sounds so fake.
