what happened to the original gearbox?
Just old and too many ks I believe
Didn't get serviced at all and it started flaring between 3rd and 4th gear, now he has a f6 gearbox (even though its exactly the same)
79SNDY the original box was 200,000 kms old, after it was tuned we noticed it started flaring (due to old age and never being serviced it’s life), so we put in a new ZF, yeah it’s the same but serviced and tuned correctly is perfect for my power level

I like my ute's dose at full boost, but the constant flutter under any throttle is getting pretty old. Plus the intake suction noise of the pod filter in the air box is pretty lame, it whistles, it just sounds shit with ZF equipped cars when you're just driving casually.

Nice driving man but that BOV would annoy me after a while... although I am 50yo and old so what do you expect?
The flutter you're hearing is the absence of a BOV. Turbo Falcons come with a recirculating BOV from the factory but you remove them when you install a turbo side intake kit (like Zac has). Some people just block them off to get the flutter even without installing other intake mods.
