I've owned a 630rwhp xr6 turbo for 2 years as a daily driver and the only down fall is, most hsv owners are petrified of having a go of a set of lights. And that's no joke.
I have a stock fg xr6 and almost nobody will race. No skylines, rarely a sv6 but usually another fg. Cheap cars from the lads will have a go but everyone else either drives like a bitch or is way too scared...
I could be wrong but it looks like the 0-100 timer is stopping at 100kmh wheel speed rather than actual speed. Would be keen to see gps used so wheel spin doesn't mess with the time. Clean car though, super nice 👌.

Great vid. I've got one of the last manual mk2 F6s ever built, with similar power. It's becoming a modern classic or something, gets so much attention these days. Owned it 6 years and just hit 100kkm but I'm not sure I could ever sell it. I hope the owner of this one has upgraded the oil pump gears though, otherwise I'd be keeping clear of that rev limiter.

G'day Jon.......Wow...That's a weapon ...Black would be a mongrel to keep clean but it'd be worth the time and effort to keep it looking like this ..not a fan of aftermarket wheels usually but these look amazing ...Imagine if Ford had've had the balls to use the mighty Barra around the world ,Proper dual cam timing , cross bolted main caps giving huge bottom end strength and years of integrity. Has to be one of the best engines ever designed . Not just for power potential but because it's essentially bullet proof as well if upgrades are done correctly...What a car this is..Thanks again for another great vid.

Nice car, and a good review man... But dude(only downside), you gotta invest in a Dragy or Vbox to be throwing up acceleration times. In that same notion, my BF ute would hit 100 in 2 seconds flat!... Tyre's still spinning when you stopped the clock at 100, you can see when he clutched in the wheel speed shifted straight to around 80 which was a while after the clock stopped.

@@RossReviewsau worth doin ALOT of research on the diff between the F6s and the G6s if your a picky person like me. For eg the G6s don't get an LSD. Or that the 2nd generation G6 gets the F6s smaller turbo rather than the new larger one they switched to because it spools faster and is smoother/more streetable! Or my personal favorite.... the G6s get the full black gloss dash and internals rather than the cheapish looking silver plastics. The G6 also sits about 5mm lower as they use the slightly softer factory GT(heavyier v8) springs instead of the 6cyl sport spec ones. So many ways to skin a 🐱 Rant over😁
Aussie Fords are all about engines and their chassis because when it comes to equipment and interior it's clear that they were both an afterthought (and not a good one).
