I love my V2's. got them on Black Friday sale as well. I should have taken out the clutch and slide the brake to the clutch position before I mounted them to the Rig. Other than that, they are great
Hey! great video as usual. I got mines yesterday coming from the T3PA-GT and I'm fairly overwhelmed with how stiff they come by default... and that's with the softest elastomers!! I think I will need a long period of adaptation to get back to my lap times :(
So I use the CSL pedals with the Load Cell Kit, and I optimized them with the Pedal Upgrade Tuning Elastomer Kit - Brake Mod. I find trail breaking more comfortable with it, best regards.
Great review, thank you for the information. Do you know if it is possible to remove the clutch pedal entirely and move the brake all the way to the right? It was hard to tell if that was possible in your review with those spacers in place. Also, do you think this would be a better upgrade than just getting the loadcell for the CSL pedals?
I recently went from the CSL loadcell ones to the V2's and the V2 brake is better - it just has abit more feel when trail-braking, and you also have the choice of elastometers that come with it. I think overall my lap consistency has imprived with the V2 pedals. Easy enough to remove the clutch and reposition the brake - I did the same with mine as I have no need for the clutch.
i moved from CSL LC to CSL Elite V2 and that difference was amazing. 1. brake is a way way much better then CSL LC brake pedal 2. pedal rubber cover is very very good. i dont regret to spend money for those pedals
@@kriit24 I have the g920 set, so obviously it's gonna be a huge difference, but I'm trying to get an idea if the elite V2 are worth enough so I don't buy the bundle that has the CSL dd, McLaren wheel, CSL LC combo. If I buy the V2, I'll need to stick to Logitechs wheel for a while. What would you recommend from experience?
@@DiegoRamirez-iy5uh im very very very satisfied with V2 and my suggestion is to skip CSL. But now is not good time to buy fanatec products, because of bankruptcy. Wait when Corsair takes over
the only issue that i've found and this is more on the software side. When using the RJ11 connection, sometimes the fanatec software doesn't recognize the pedal as the correct version and it selects the v1 version. this doesn't happen with the USB connection
What's your recommendation on brake force setting on the V2. When you get to 100%, are you using a lot of strength or no. Tough bc the brake indicator is always flickering when driving.
Thanks, nice video. I have the V3, but i struggle to adjust the brake exactly how i want it. Will you go back to V3, or continue with V2? After this video i'm thinking of trying the V2...
Yes it is but not possible to use the support rod and also if u feel like the throttle is to light u can use the clutch pedal has a throttle and just switch the rubber stops
My order came in after 6 days. So I suppose things are getting better, but I did not get a track and trace. Also, in my account it still says ‘getting ready to shipped’
I ordered a full fanatec set up (pedals, wheel, wheelbase + boost kit, QR2), and it arrived way faster than I expected and arrived sooner than they estimated. Probably 1 week. I had an RMA for the wheelbase and they took it back and sent me a brand new one. This was in december and the shipping was slower probably because the holidays, it took 2 weeks to get the replacement wheelbase. Also the new one works perfectly.
Hello Digit, I also have these pedals. But my brake was broken after 4 months. I wrote to Fanatec Support (including a video) but have not received a response after 1.5 months. Can you help me with that?
I'm sorry to hear that. At this point I have no contact at Fanatec and will most likely write to them (again) with some questions. I'm sorry but really nothing that I can do.
@@Lieferinger So the Hall sensor on your new elite V2’s is broken? How long did you use the pedals for? I’m currently conflicted on getting the V2’s over used V3 pedals with performance kit. I’m leaning on the V3’s because they look a lot nicer and I think having throttle throw would be beneficial over the V2’s. Your thoughts, especially if you are having issues with those new V2’s?
biggest problem of this pedals is the elastomers, this are going to be dead, and brake will start "feeding brake input" without any force after 3-5 months of use
I bought these pedals before black Friday and have not used them because of endless Fanatec incompetence and lies. I cancelled the rest of my order and now I have these brand new pedals sitting in the closet 🤣😣
Well, there's mixed feedback from the community, but I'll start with myself. It blows my mind he only has 36k, with the quality of his content this channel deserves to be much bigger.
Indeed
I love the way mine look in a box while I wait endlessly for the clubsport dd + that Sony can't seem to agree on with Fanatec.
We appreciate your honest reviews, digit.
I just got my V2 yesterday. Great pedals for $200.00

Yes, you can; each pedal can be mounted separately. And yes, much better than CSLs
What elastomer setup do you use now? Now i am trying with one of each (85+75+65) and the normal spring. BRF: 40
