Spray Swath Results Highlight | DJI Agras T40 | Agri Spray Drones

We completed 28 spray swath tests looking at various parameters including height, speed, rates, and nozzle types on the DJI Agras T40 using a string test method. Check out this preview of the test results.

As a part 107 pilot your videos have definitely caught my eye. Very interesting concept and it seems there is a lot of opportunity in this growing field. I do know a couple farmers that could benefit from this technology. However, I remember very little about farming from my FFA days so I would probably be at a disadvantage in this area. 😊 Keep up the good work. I’m enjoying the videos! 👍

Why don't DJI provide this data so that prospective customers like me can see how effective it is?

Because DJI Knows their result is bad.. Their test were conducted by University institution, but they never dare to release the result
Or they will only select 1 or 2 of their best result in the most OPTIMAL conidtion to publish in a conference 😂

@@Alex-wo9mz I did go and purchase a T40 and found that the spray pattern for the herbicide I was using was very uniform. I searched the net to see before and after shots of herbicide spray coverage and couldn't find anything. So I took a punt and found it was very errective. I actually think that because the spray I was applying was more concentrated (less water used) I could have cut back a bit on the chemical. I was spraying a paddock alongside another paddock that was sprayed a day earlier with a conventional boomspray and the one I did died off before the other.

@@wmclare they also offer different nozzles I think if you want a high precision.
