    Thanks for the video. The land in US looks so nice. Happy to learn that the batteries can be exchanged during re-filling, even thought 65% balance, which is healthy for batteries' span. Well done, thanks again.

    Wow! Just Wow! Hello from Phoenix, Arizona. Believe it or not they do do some farming out here in the desert cotton fields and alfalfa feels I don’t know if they’re using drones or not because it’s a good way from my house and I never go out there, but I remember when I was learning to fly one of our practice areas over a lot of farming fields. Thanks for making these videos. I love technology, drones, and aviation.

    Great demo and explanation, loved it. Came across your's after watching Ryan's (How Farms Work) video of unpacking is Agras T50.
    Thanks for highlighting the advantage of the drone in hilly and tree covered acreage, that's a great point!
    4 questions:
    - How could / would you utilise the T50 (or any Ag drone) in an Organic / No Till Farming situation?
    - Is the T50 capable of specialised (thermal or other) scanning of trees, crops or hay fields to identify plant health and or disease/pests etc?
    - Could these sort of drones double as farm security / areial surveilance?
    - What Generator is remotely started with a key-fob??? 😲

    I were planning to buy a tractor mounted sprayer which is at present more prevalent in our country India but after watching your presentation of DJI T40 /T50 I have changed up my mind , its a wonderful device for the young generation farmers, I dont know the price but if it would be in my reach I shall definitely go for it .

    Hey Taylor, can you program the controller to make the t-50 slow down autonomously at a point? Say 300 feet before a hilly area and speed up on the return?

    Question about herbicides, if I am spraying some previously cleared land, and there’s regrowth, like poplar saplings does the drone pick up treetops or ground level?
    Great video by the way !

    • @RyanWatsonASD
      @RyanWatsonASD หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It picks up whatever is beneath it. For example if you are flying over corn, it will fly 10ft above the corn if your height is set at 10ft.

    What mph wind do you stop spraying

    • @RyanWatsonASD
      @RyanWatsonASD หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Usually you want to top off between 10-15 mph, and that's just due to drift. The drone can handle 25mph in a straight line, but you obviously don't want to spray in that. Using DRA and knowledge of setting within the drone and spraying functions will also go a long way in drift reduction.

    hey ich have a big question ! ok first, thx for your very cool videos! But why they batterie so fast emtpy? in the manuel stands the dji t50 can fly up to 22minutes! ... why is your batterie so fast empty?

    • @RyanWatsonASD
      @RyanWatsonASD หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you are flying for 22 minutes, you must be in a vacuum sealed room with absolutely no load. You are usually flying for roughly 8ish minutes on a full tank. When you land, you'll likely be around 40% on a battery for example. (This is on some nicer flat terrain with the start point next to the field to limit ferry time.)

    In India we do not have seed drilling or row planting. It is one common field. In addition, if not paddy, the plots have intercrops with tall trees (Mango) and small plants (Soyabean). How good is your international service and support. Please please introduce them in India first as a service then as products. Love from Vijayawada, AP. India.

    It doesn’t seem like these drones go close enough to the outside edges of fields, looks like it’s missing the outside?

    • @nokuthulamatsikiti4025
      @nokuthulamatsikiti4025 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The actual drone doesn’t need to go to the edges because it covers an area greater than its size when it’s spraying

    • @Jessewo
      @Jessewo หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@nokuthulamatsikiti4025 wouldn’t it still be too close for weaving power lines in a field and doesn’t it by lay have to be 50’ from a road? We seed right up to the road edge here so a drone wouldn’t work or would it?

    • @RyanWatsonASD
      @RyanWatsonASD หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Drones of almost all big brands usually have roughly a 30ft swath consistently. So that would be roughly 12ish ft off each side of the drone, plus unexpected drift. Another way to combat this would be to select the end row pass at the end of the mission, which flies a boundary pass all around the end of the field. You can also come back and hit it with manual operation if there's an area you feel like you missed during your initial planning phase.
      Something to consider, the drone is only as smart as you make it. You are the one planning the routes and boundaries and telling it what settings to use etc.

    • @RyanWatsonASD
      @RyanWatsonASD หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's more for your high output applications. Something to keep in mind is that you are adding more weight, without increasing batter power, which in tern decreases flight time if you compare it to a normal 2gpa application of the normal 10.5 gallon tank.

  • @adamthompson8432

    So how much for the whole deal? Drone, batteries, trailer, up grade for the filler, tanks everything. How much for everything on that trailer and how much for the trailer? Include the Bimini and everything. Total cost for that entire setup you have in the video. Except the truck. Don’t need the price on the truck.

      I'd also like to know. I would like to buy a start up operation and do custom spraying! Also - you can also get dry tanks/applicators for like cover crop seeding? That would be extremely beneficial for keeping the business model 'flying' through more seasons than just spraying! (looking for a *REPLY* - vs. *NO REPLY* to gentleman above here!)

    • @jchief40
      @jchief40 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @infox6671 there's plenty of farmers on yt running the p100 pro.. lots of dji fanbois though.. yes the software is better but with the latest updates, it's "good enough" to keep the job done for thr specific use case. Not doing stunt flying and I don't need the better on board camera. I want fields sprayed in far less time. I'm not going of xag sellers either. You do you though

    • @jchief40
      @jchief40 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@infox6671 when you add GPA and battery efficiency that's what I mean.. on larger fields it is getting the job done more efficiently , objective fact my man. The T40/50 slows down when you increase. Yes software fancier and better camera , not disputing.. in capable hands it just is better in terms of efficiency.. I would like to have the best of both worlds no doubt. T60 we shall see what comes. But this game is about margin and efficiency. And right now XAG is delivering where it counts. Larger tank too.

    • @jchief40
      @jchief40 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And the SIM card / wireless network is nice to have imo in the XAG.. you don't have to reestablish connectivity during "pit stops" it gets off the ground and back in flight faster.
