thats a beautiful piece , i have a rx7 fd3s and the rotary engine is a very addictive motor . I have a Nissan BNR32 which i love but the fd is just a masterpiece . Now dont get me wrong i love my GTR but the RX7 is a special piece. Can't wait to see the new RX

I really like the transparent (moon) roof idea. I wish Mazda could offer an engine choice: rotary power or skyactive efficiency. Or - imagine a skyactive V8..
This is the Shinari. It is a pure concept car, like the Saab Aero. It's not going to be made -- it's just a platform to show off their new "design language." The Takeri is virtually identical to what's just been revealed as the new 6. Same design cues, just toned down so it can actually be manufactured. It's due in the US next year. I think it looks great.
great info buddy can you give us more information on the new rotaries, what will they be put in? will one of them have a turbo? how does the diesel rotary run, any horsepower numbers for all of them?

Yes its skyactive but its still going to be a rotary. More torque and more horsepower while being fuel efficient. This was confirmed with the Rotary Dr. from Neosho, MO and is contacts at MAZDA. Looking forward to this beast and ill be in line to get one as soon as they hit the dealerships
I owned the first generation mazda 6 and really liked its appearance, so I maybe partial. I have to say this is the nicest looking car I have ever seen! Nicer than ANY car. Nicer than $100,000 plus cars. Mazda really needs to make this exact car (maybe change the backseat to hold 3)!!!
I saw pics of the first real! model of the rx-9 to come out, not in production form yet It's on line and looks a lot like the latest version of the twin turbo rx-7, a little like chevie corvette, and alittle like the rx-8, with the front resembling mazda furi and almost the same rear wind shield as the rx-8. It looks awsome! A mazda speed version from factory will come out as a later model with 350 Bhp naturally aspirated. Cool!
Your right. and they used their kodo design for the new CX 5, the 6, and the CX 9. I can't wait to see it on the 3. :D and i hope they bring the RX 7 back.
I Love Mazda. Never ever any other car brand can satisfy me :(. Its seat position, sea position, back seat comfort, boot is very big, quality. Only think and only think I can't continue with mazda is gearbox :( Its really takeover performance
You are correct about 1 thing it is really hard to get information out of Mazda until they decide to release an official statement. But coming from the mouth of their chief, Yamamoto, holds a lot of credit. He also made a statement a year ago when they were announcing the end of the RX8 that as long is he is in charge of the sports car lines they will continue to develop rotary powered vehicles. So yeah saying they wanted to drop the rotary yeah that's wrong.
Naaah :D I just love how people keep saying every new amazing looking car looks like that backpacked hunchback :D If this Mazda really looks like that off the production line, it will go down in history as one of the greatest looking cars. DAMN it looks good!
