- Ladies and gents after 5-6 months of waiting, the Mazda RX-VISION GT3 CONCEPT '20 has arrived via the latest update.
The car had everything going in. Not only it looks good but it also shares some performance cues from the legendary Mazda 787B with the 4 rotor engine concept used but with SKYACTIV tech added thus making this an already awesome Gr.3 machine.
How does it perform and is it worthy of being the new Gr.3 main for Mazda? Well under BoP specs this thing does good in both power and handling. Acceleration is alright, the handling is alright as well but proabably a tad lacking on the horses but I don't mind it that much.
Overall, this is indeed going to be Mazda's new Gr.3 main. Sure the Atenza may still be used in some races but this RX-VISION has pretty much everything going for as Mazda's new Gr.3 main for the Manufacturers Series.
You can get the car for 450K credits (standard price for a Gr.3 car), try your luck on the daily workout wheel, or buy the car via PS Store.

It’s a rotary engine. Not sure which one prolly 3-4 rotor. It’s an rx series Mazda so the rx3-8 will have similar sounds

There are not many thrills left for an oldschool car guy (although I'm a early 90s child) nowadays - I own a 2010 Viper plus a 2017 C300 Coupé as daily driver and I'm keeping my eyes open for another true drivers car (manual, not too much electronics, focus on engine and weight) ... For my taste modern cars are often way too bloated and heavy (Cayman GT4 would have been great if Porsche just wouldn't have messed up with the too weak body structure - you know: the GT3 suspension breaks right through the strut towers). A classic RX-7 would be interesting but here in Germany it's very seldom, expensive and I fear all the involved issues (the good 'ol biturbo Wankel won't get younger) ... The RX-9 with H2-Wankel would have been most interesting to me, but yeah - gladly Mazda doesn't dare to build it :-(

This design is same like mazda 3 and 6
The current gen Mazdas are based on the same concept this is. They all share the design language of the 2015 Mazda RX Vision concept.
