You could not make a video more attuned to me than this. Love both of these games and seeing This Quars War finally getting its due brings me genuine joy. If you have a chance, get a copy of the original rulebook, There's a story through it between a soldier on the frontlines and his nephew, with the final page hitting so hard emotionally I just had to sit for a moment and process it.
Parliamentarians versus Royalists is The English Civil War; Yorkist versus Lancastrians in The War of the Roses. Though the English Civil War is just a part of several overlapping wars involving England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, plus some Continental nations too. Grimsical is a great coinage; how about Whim Dark? "9" is a great little film, and so much less devastating than "Mad God". Wargames Atlantic is truly a great resource. A big bag of seashells could be great for making snail themed scenery for Turnip28.
love turnip and root (do root :) )there is something about stuff outside the trad wargames sphere that encourages creativity in mini painting. Gamma wolves has left me with A LOT of kit bashes. I think that indy sphere really pushes creativity.

Merry Festivus to all of the GMG gang.

"Whim Dark" - brilliant!
Really enjoying this new Indy series. Only possible because of your encyclopedic knowledge of the table top gaming industry. Keep up the great work.
This series is fantastic. Loving it

Turnip 28 is as much a vibe as a game, but it’s a ton of fun to build and paint an army.
Even in the cold winter I can always go for a delicious Grimsicle.
C'est donc cela qu'on appelle un miracle de Noel.
Lets GO!! thanks again love Turnip28 myself so much style and creativity. Happy Christmas everyone :-D
This Quar’s War is my new favorite game
I would say Turnip28 owes more aesthetically to Ian Miller than John Blanche, but yeah...Ratspike in da house.
I am actually building my turnip army using Quar models LOL
Do you have plans to do a Turnip 28 battle report? And/Or Quar? And Trench Crusade but I imagine you've been asked that a hundred times already.
Have you reviewed Moonstone? That's a game that's recently piqued my interest.
I have!
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames Found it! Five years ago- yikes, I'm late to the party...

I'm interested in the new skirmish version of Turnip28.
Quar looks fun and the aesthetic but I know no one will want to play it 😢
I'm too indie for the 40k fandom
