This might help you out. When I feel anxiety or surrounded by bad energies, I have to remove myself from that room or surroundings. But self-love and self care are the best ways to take care of yourself. It's your life, and you have to put yourself first.
Blue ink does help you memorize! I use blue ink pins when studying and I’m an LPN almost finishing RN school. Trust me it does! Thankyou for sharing that !
I’ve had my locs for about almost 4 years and so far my favorite shampoo has been Carols Daughter wash day delight ! It’s a water to foam shampoo which I love

Whew! I had to pause the video and comment! The first 2 minutes of your video are almost verbatim to a conversation I had recently with my niece. She is really struggling with her hygiene in a way where it's like she is detached from her own existence. I asked her yesterday does she like herself and she looked at me so confused. I explained to her (and I've also been having this talk with my son) that the first step in self advocacy is hygiene. When you care about yourself, you take care of yourself. Im going to speak with her mom and urge for baby girl to get therapy. I have suffered with low self esteem for many years. And although I never abandoned my hygiene, I see the difference in how I practice self care. The shower has always been my place of restoration. I always felt like I was washing away the sorrows of the day. My tears and the water falling down on me seemed to help alleviate the pain I was in. But now that I am healing and finding my value, I'm not releasing a ton of grief down the drain. Im not in the shower crying out about all the things that i dislike about me, Im now declaring how much I love me! I'm not making sure that the things I do in my routine are based on what other people will perceive, but everything that I do now is because it's something that I want to see! People pleasing had me bound and blind. And when I uncovered that the root of my people pleasing was the fact that I didn't value myself as much as I did others, I knew I needed to heal. And again, as I have begun to heal, I noticed my hygiene routine enhance and those enhancements have become more consistent. I would be on a roller coaster at times with what I was add in my hygiene routine based on who was in my life at the time- doing things for stricly for me has calmed things down in my life tremendously.
Love that! I'm glad you were able to regain control in that area. I think those of us that are empaths sometimes care so much for others that we forget to care of ourselves. You just gotta be selfish sometime!
I love hearing about others femininity journey. I am currently on mine. I want to be soft but it’s so hard for me. I’ve lived in my masculine energy sooo long
Hey! First of all your skin is flawless! I have a few suggestions that you may like. I use Supergoop Matte SPF Sunscreen and let me tell you it’s is amazing! Doesn’t leave your skin oily and sets very well, no white cast. As far as toner I use Farmacy Brighten up and that gets my dark spots gone! I will definitely check out that eye cream you mentioned because I have been wanting to try one. Thanks for sharing beautiful!
Best for teeth Crest Brilliance toothpaste and mouthwash Along with oil pulling Very good for whitening and deep clean (sorry if it doesn’t give you the burn you want) I get told every week or every time I smile how white my teeth are been using crest for about 4-5 years
Omg! I just subscribed and love your vibe. I would suggest the As I Am Dry & Itchy Scalp line. I’ve had scalp issues forever and it works. I no longer have dryness or any flaking. Keep glowing babe!
I recently just got locs 5 months ago and my loctician uses its natural rosemary shampoo and it works great!! I love anything rosemary for my hair/scalp
Your video came as a suggested after watching one of my regulars. I clicked because I saw locs and I'm 4.5yrs in and my daughter is 6yrs in. I have color and she doesn't. What I do know is soaps (especially Dr. Bronners) is stripping. I would suggest a clarifying shampoo which is designed to get rid of buildup then follow up with a good hydrating shampoo then conditioner or hair mask. Going to check out the rest of your videos, so far I'm enjoying what I see ❤ Lastly, I totally agree with not doing the most with locs and that has helped us tremendously. The five locs at my kitchen are the only locs with any buildup and its very minimal.
Hello, you came across my TL, month back - no pun intended! But watch some of your vlogs, I appreciate the fact you’re bold enough to talk about your self health journey and hygiene, gym work stuff and ev’thg, I love it, because you have come a long ways, from what I’ve seen but the big for me, being Feminine/soft- its your Super power, make you even more Beautiful khokolate radiant😏, these women need encouraging words, like yours especially BW- which I love seriously, your an inspiration that things get better, and loving yourself is so important. Stay focused/positive, with good energy and there will be more good life moments like this one. #seeyanxyvlog 😊
I LOVE MY BLACK QUEENS !!!!! GOOD GOD ALMIGHT YOU ARE GORGEOUS lol!!!!!! I'm actually here because I'm taking my hygiene to a new level so as a guy. I'm stealing tips from the ladies lol.
For me, I always had dry scalp issues when I was a loose natural. I’m now 3 months loced and what I noticed in the first month when I started doing the whole oil and water routine, is that oiling my scalp made it flake up so bad and it would be so itchy. So I started just washing my hair with the tea tree head & shoulders dandruff shampoo and then going in with the Aussie moisture miracle shampoo. No oil during my retwist or on my scalp. After about 2-3 days post wash my scalp naturally produces its own oil and I have no itch or flaking which has been a lifesaver, so maybe you can experiment with leaving out oils and see. I drink a lot of water so I think that contributes to the oil production as well. Did you palmroll in your starter loc phase btw? I’m 4 months September 24th and I don’t want to start palm rolling my locs too soon. However, I don’t want to not start soon enough and they end up too thick cause I already have high density hair. 😬
Recommendations for curly hair shampoo products for men? I've been trying to get back in the swing of things as far as self love, self care..any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hey listen. I don't mean to offend. But have you ever had any man ever tell you you smell down there? I'm dead ass serious. If not what is your routine? I'm a guy by the way. I'm sure you know that's a common problem for ladies.
Quick question, what do I do if my cousin smells like pee…like we don’t know how to fix that problem because when I lay down in her lap ,I smelled the pee??
Hi! What deodorant do you use? How do you remove armpit hair and how often? You have nice armpits! Do you prefer spray deodorant or another? Thanks for the answer 🙂
Hey! I use dove deodorant for the time being. I am still trying to find one that I like. I exfoliate my armpits everyday and shave whenever I see hair ... so I guess 2 times a week
I tried the cera ve eye cream unfortunately it did nothing for me but the one from good molecules works wonders and it’s way cheaper.I realize that their products work very well with my skin and I like that they are affordable. I use As I am as well only the Classic leave-in conditioner. It’s pretty light and I love how it makes my hair feel. To be honest it’s the best one I’ve used since I’ve started my journey. It doesn’t make my hair crunchy or ‘tough’.
I literally gasped when I saw the thumbnail. Girl, you’re super gorgeous
thank you!
She’s fine af 😮💨❤️
Right , soooo pretty
