Great description of their process. I am going definitely follow that mindset more, all about the combo of the tools and elements needed to make such a wonderful final image.
This Video uploaded perfectly, no blocking and no banding. Good Bitrate. I dislike these 'apology Descriptions' where people claim they can't upload quality Work here.
I just came to this conclusion myself as well - right down to the camera profiles - Leica R lenses look great with Cine 4 on Sony sensors and Zeiss Contax G lenses look better with S log and don't look right in Cine 4.. live and learn.

Contax G are noticeably contrasty lens and that would definitely help grade the SLog footage.
what was the conclusion? what combination of camera/lenses did he worked with at the end?
Gavin used the Arri Alexa camera with Leica Summilux-C lenses (they're quite fast, at T1.4)
CookeOpticsTV thank u for answering back.
Well, Alexa was predictable
Happy because I do the same

love it
How do they actually test all those? Dynamic range etc.
What was THIS shot with?
This was shot with a Sony FS5 with the Cooke Mini S4i lens - quite possibly a 25mm.
