Repairing hull damage on my Jet Ski

There is damage, about the size of a silver dollar, on the bottom of my jet ski and it is time to take care of it. The jet ski doesn't leak, but the damage is very noticeable out of the water. I bought a box of MarineTex for the job so we will see how it works.

how did you make that white look so good i have the same ski and took off the decal by the gas cap and you can tell a sticker was there

Buffing wheel with a course pad and a medium pad and some ultimate Maguires compound it will be pearlescent white

what did you do to make that white pop and look so good I took the sticker off by the gas cap I have the same ski and mine looks like shit

The outline of the decal is still there, just not as noticeable as before. I used a da polisher on it with some marine compound and it removed a lot of the oxidation and decal residue.
