Learning a trade can provide a very comfortable life. I been to prison 2x, a running around with no respect for life when I was young but I always tried to keep a job in carpentry and now at age of 43 year old I'm 7 years away from being mortgage free, I paid cash for my truck, have insurance, an annuity and a beautiful family. Hard work pays off. Once I decided to get my shit together and not keep going in and out of prison and focus all my attention on learning and excelling at my trade life changed and I got an opportunity for a job and I ran with it.
