    my filipina wife and me live for the 3rd time in Avida Towers and we love it here. the rent prices start around 15k for a 1 room condo. but there are different sizes of rooms and of different prices.
    Avida is a safe place, all needs in walking distance, awesome staff and good located.
    Iloilo City is also a very lovely town, friendly people, many things to discover and monthly bills still affordable.
    generally I would recommend for foreigners anyway, not to but property, only rent!

    At 300 dollars per as foot and probably partly unfinished in an area where salaries are 5 dollars an hour on average you need a bigger Western or Chinese fool to make it a good investment.

      Greater fool theory, earn money in an overvalued real estate in iloilo.

      Condos are getting smaller even in Canada they are trying to do the tiny new York style and get the most out of a building

    I’m moving to the Philippines but I’m not going to travel over 30,000 miles to try and live like how I do in usa that’s dumb.To be honest most Americans need to stop going over their trying to live the same lifestyle by keeping the same habits because if or when you do you will be living in another country living in a box.I do research about other countries all the time if y’all go to Mindanao region trying to live and have a western lifestyle 🤣your going to be out of luck.

    • @ThatPhilippinesLife

      All condos have monthly dues for the maintenance of the property, security, waste management and so on. So the owner of each unit has to pay monthly dues

      Yes definitely but the Philippines is a developing country with the fastest growing GDP in Asia. Keep in mind Iloilo has very few foreigners so it's locals who buy and rent at these prices mostly

      @@ThatPhilippinesLifeThat fastest growing GDP is good but reality is that you can't even cross the road safely in places like Cebu and public transport is a shocker , so yes it is overpriced for Phillipines,you promoting luxury condo western style and you walk around the corner and you are still in third work country in regards to infrastructure ,having said that Iloilo is definitely more livable than Cebu .It got to be one of the cleanest cities in Phillipines . Are you aware you can buy decent 2bdr.apartament in Italy for 50K .... So to pay 150K for condo in Ph is a nonsense .

    • @Abdul..
      @Abdul.. หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@cheguevara5560In Thailand, Pattaya. You can buy a condo for 30K USD in a fabulous area. It’s an overcharge for Iloilo compared to BGC, Makati.
