Hey, I hope you are doing well. I have a Saginaw 3 speed (synchro 1st) with R10 overdrive in my 70 Chevelle. The issue is that when I have the overdrive engaged it does not go forward in gear, but when I disengage the overdrive, it goes forward in all gears. I am using a shifter with a switch to power the solenoid. Electrically everything looks good. I think it's something mechanically wrong with the overdrive unit. You have a lot of good videos on this overdrive unit.
Yes. I have alot of footage on the R10. If it doesn't go forward in any gear, then it's seems like the OD mechanism is seized or broken internally. Thanks for taking the time to support the channel
