Looks like technically, it gets to 'Astronomical Twilight' but not fully dark. And that's true for much of May, June and July! The GoPro isn't the best night camera.
@@bukai_oklm if nothing covers the horizon it would be blue-ish but the sky would be black. To not see black sky you would have to be closer to 60⁰N at least over 55⁰(manchester is at 53⁰)
@@bukai_oklmyes. On the summer solstice i was camping looking at the stars at 12am. And the bottom of the sky was a faint orange colour. The sky was dark blue. And you could see the ground with out a torch. I live in northern england btw. So this is accurate.
damn i thought that at such a high latitude there wouldn't be a pitch black night at summer solstice

@@slo-shots so at this latitude if i looked north at 1am i would still be able to see some light?
