What are some other common opportunities for someone looking to move there for work without an actual career?
Seeing as you’ll need a work visa/sponsor to come here, that route may be extremely difficult.
Great video bro. Very inspiring. How did you get in your field? Also is there a lot IT positions there?
Been in oil and gas since 2007, went back and completed my MBA in 2019, mix of IT and Trading roles on the business side. Definitely IT positions available here. My opportunity in Doha came from LinkedIn
@Dkendrick1 did you indicate on your LinkedIn profile that you were interested in working in Qatar?
Thank you for sharing your experience. My question is can you share any real estate agents you dealt with , trusted and liked
Used ‘Better Homes’ realtors for our current place. And you’re welcome. Thanks for watching
Amazing video very informative and helpful. Do you have any tricks or pointers to get recruiters recruiting in Dohas attention? Really looking forward to work out there very very soon!!
It’s helps to have specific domain knowledge in oil & gas, specifically LNG. But for me, it was a matter of the recruiter reaching out on LinkedIn
Im wanting to move to qatar but insure whay jobs to look for or scholorships to study to get a good job over there any advice ?
Not too sure on the scholarship piece, my opportunity came through recruitment via LinkedIn. I’d start there if I woke up in your shoes
Are you aware of any Civil Engineering positions? Mainly horizontal (road and bridge construction)
I haven’t seen any at my company, QatarEnergy
Might have to link with you bro..I have an offer but I'm seeing if I am willing to do it! Good content.
It’s a no brainer. Do it…what’s the hesitation?
@@DKendrick1mannn, we gotta come to terms on the 🥖 , what frat you in?
@@TMo1911 think about the no taxes as well, plus quality of life as well. I’m an Alpha. Fall 2002, PVAMU, Ace Club.
Thanks for sharing the story! I would appreciate if you could share how you maintain all that you do.( i.e. content creation, exercise, professionalism, and family)? It could help me improve.
24 hours is a lot of time, I try to carve it out as best as I can. No secret recipe
I like the backdrop more than the content 😂
I'm messing with you. It's very informative...
Next episode out yet?
Soon come
Do you still have to pay American taxes?
How can one know a real recruiter ?
I was approached via LinkedIn
Your in a Muslim country now bro. You and your family are safe and your race or ethnicity is celebrated because ALLAH created you! Welcome

I thought US Citizens had to pay federal income tax regardless of what country they made their money.
There’s no tax from the Qatar side, and the IRS waives up to $115k. When I filed last month, I didn’t owe anything. But I do offset with real estate holdings back in the states.
