Gbu bro and sis Today let's study about THE TWO MEANING OF THE WIFE OF CHRIST...... In the Bible a word does not only have one meaning ,but two or more meaning in many cases ,so if you not only focus on one meaning of the word without considering the context ,you may distort the Bible and end up perverting the will of God... Those who deny the heavenly MOTHER are making the same mistake.... They insists that the bride ( wife of the Lamb) in Revelation 19 and 22 indicates the church ( saints), only quoting verses where the church (saints) is likened to the wife of Christ... Here are the verses they use.... Ephesians 5:22_25.... Wives ,submit to your husbands as to the lord for the husband's is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the Church.... Husband's ,live your wives ,just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her... 2 Cor 11:2... I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ , so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him... It's true that the church is likened to the wife of Christ in the verses above ...Because of that , can we posit that the bride ( wife of the Lamb) in Revelation indicates the church ( saints)?... No we can't Let's verify it with some examples from the Bible...First ,let's think of the word Lamb.The lambs in the following verse definately refer to the saints.., John 21:15 When they had finished eating,Jesus said to simon Peter , ""Simon son of John, do you truly live me more than these ? "" Yes , lord,"" he said , " you know that I love you ,' Jesus said," Feed my lambs""... Then can we say that the Lamb in the following verse ,too refers to the saints, not Christ... John 1:29 .. The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said ," Look ,the Lamb of God who takes away the din of the world".. Her ,the lamb is Jesus , nevertheless ,can we insist that the lamb here too refers to the saints , not Jesus , because the lambs in another verse indicate the saints ?? Never even though the lambs in another verse refer to the saints, the lamb in John 1:29 definately indicates Christ .In other words ,the same lamb has a different meaning ,depending on the context..... It's the same with the expression, wife of the lamb ..Although the same expression, wife of the lamb ,is mentioned in some places from the Bible ,it has different meanings , based on context. The wife of the lamb can refer to the church (saints) in the verses they quote but the wife of the lamb ,who gives the water of life at the heavenly wedding banquet, only refers.to the heavenly Mother ( Revelation 19:7...21:9,...22:17)..... AMEN 🙏
