I had accepted that surgery was not for me....until my urology rotation. Honestly it's got the best lifestyle of all the surgery specialities, straight forward pathologies, great patient outcomes and most diverse range of procedures. I also love the mix of clinic and surgery.

Our surgery professor is a urologist and he keep trying to convince us to go into urology. he says that urology patients are always very thankful since you relive severe pain like kidney stones, help with clearing a full bladder and treat some erectile dysfunction cases which is extremely important for males. your patients will be very thankful and constantly sending you letters and gifts
The only problem is the process in becoming a urologist, Its Very hard and strong dedication is need, even if ur dedicated its not guaranteed ur gonna make it

I'm a nurse in a urology clinic, most urologists I meet are very much happy-go-lucky and laid back, usually have excellent productivity numbers, too. Its definitely a subject I am interested in for residency, but I'm also looking forward to SYWB Nephrologist

I really love this series , but after a lot of thinking I am actually thinking of something non-surgical and I would really love to see more non-surgical stuff here , I know the pay is not the same and the competition is less but I believe with those amazing videos I might be able to choose what residency to apply to much easier , thanks man !
My urologist absolutely has a great sense of humor. He’s so nice and laid back and he laughed when I put my foot in my mouth. Having an awesome urologist really helped when I needed my kidney stones removed. Also when I asked him his patient ratio and he said about 3/4 of his patients are men.
