That's funny. I'm not quite seeing it, but I'm sure it's there somewhere

I got into oil painting after I got frustrated with AI art. I figured I could do it better so I did.

I'm guessing it also feels a lot better knowing you're in full control of your own art.

I love your portrait so much! I agree totally with you. I think AI will fulfil some demand for "pretty images" and that is unfortunate for artists working in some industries like animation for instance. I do think that more traditional artists will be valued more though because people will get fed up with all those superficially perfect but uncanny images. Also I think that mastery of drawing and painting will become more rare because a lot of people will be to lazy to learn them, which is sad but also a chance for artists to stand out if they really want to. Anyway if you are an artist out there, don't forget to use Glaze or Nightshade to protect your images from being used by AIs without your consent!

I'll have to check out those apps. I haven't heard of them. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I only clicked on this vid to say that Alpay Effay has it correct, "AI creates images. Humans create art." So to answer the lead question, no AI images are not better than human created art.

I have to disagree unfortunately with your point on whether we will feel connected to a machine emotionally. Just look at how wholeheartedly some people agree or are outraged by social media content created by ai. Particularly people who don’t have other people around that allow them to express themselves honestly.

That's an interesting point. I suppose they don't realize they're connecting with AI in that instance. that's a great perspective on the subject.

how many art enhusiast or collector will pay to AI for "art" piece? or prefer human artist

Nobody will pay wilfully for AI art because they can prompt them themselves. People who sell AI images only can when they are lying and saying they made them or by consciously staying quiet about the AI origin of their images. I called out several "artists" on instagram and they all first argued with me that AI was fine, and eventually ended up erasing my comments because they didn't want their public to know that they didnt make the pictures themselves. They know that AI is worthless

Art is not paint. Art is what humans do. AIs are not human. The title of this video is nonsense.

I guess I was trying to make a short clean title that captured the essence of what it was about. I'll do better next time.
