Com’n Joe Rogan, you brought a genius of 21st century and you didn’t read any of his book!?! “The Art of Seduction “ is masterpiece (as well as other Greene’s books) about why and how we helplessly fall in love with different people and you asked him is that a book about getting laid ? Com’n dude, I like you , but this interview is embarrassing. Please, educate yourself a little bit more when you have top intellectuals at your show. You look so shallow and not so smart.

@@krankkid7394 No. The author himself is a noble man. A man who was a victim of gamez being played by people more powerful and narcissistic than him. He was a journalist in Hollywood. His experience led him to research and eventually in 1998 he wrote 48 Laws Of Power. Also I believe that Tupac Shakur influenced him as well because Tupac was into Machiavelli. That's why I will always stan Tupac. He influenced so many people in knowledge. I as his student have the responsibility of enlightening the world. So this is our chance to get it right, by studying the greats and becoming greater.

    The Gates of Paradise
A soldier named Nobushige came to Hakuin, and asked: "Is there really a paradise and a hell?"
    "Who are you?" inquired Hakuin.
"I am a samurai," the warrior replied.
"You, a soldier!" exclaimed Hakuin. "What kind of ruler would have you as his guard? Your face looks like that of a beggar."
Nobushige became so angry that he began to draw his sword, but Hakuin continued: "So you have a sword! Your weapon is probably much too dull to cut off my head."
As Nobushige drew his sword Hakuin remarked: "Here open the gates of hell!"
At these words the samurai, perceiving the master's discipline, sheathed his sword and bowed.
"Here open the gates of paradise," said Hakuin.

that’s wild.. his book regarding the sublime comes out in 2 months. This pod was 10 years ago. Robert Greene keeping his word and following through with this plan this many years later goes to show he’s a committed author that cares a lot for making big concepts and ideas broken down in a manner that’s easy to digest.

Great pod. I think its a good idea to bring on Aubrey, Callen, and Duncan on board for some of the pods, opens up the convo and dynamic.

I appreciate this and will continue to heavily work to improve reducing the horrible deceit about the music industry that you (robert greene and joe rogan) have explained. I am an artist, producer, and have done promotion for my music to a point of I would say on a fame meter 3/4 and I appreciate what you explained about fear and that is what has held me back from 4/4 which i believe is a gift of time and the healing that has been teaching and preparing me to overpower those deceitful minds and evolve myself for the greater good to soon be seen as a leader of all types of races and the amazing amount of differences that set each human to be unique in the way that they choose, then reduce the love of corrupt power and evolve the love for power and the power of love to be a balanced REAL evolution of continuous improvement.
