Com’n Joe Rogan, you brought a genius of 21st century and you didn’t read any of his book!?! “The Art of Seduction “ is masterpiece (as well as other Greene’s books) about why and how we helplessly fall in love with different people and you asked him is that a book about getting laid ? Com’n dude, I like you , but this interview is embarrassing. Please, educate yourself a little bit more when you have top intellectuals at your show. You look so shallow and not so smart.
hands down my favorite writer. A self-made genius. Robert Greene you deserve 10x more attention. You are one of a kind. Thank you Joe Rogan for being sharp, well read, funny and honest. Aubrey was a good addition-well spoken. Great guest!! Keep it up guys! Have him on again :-) Joe read his books you'll adore them i promise. (Ive read Seduction and Mastery and i'm blown away).
Been listening to JRE for about 6 months now. Always enjoy the content but I wanted to say this is one of the best casts I've heard! I'm a struggling creative type and the way Robert Greene breaks down the struggle of mastery gives me inspiration to keep moving towards my goals. Thanks JRE!
Pretty crazy...I just began reading mastery and knew it was going to be good right from the intro and then I was thinking this author would be awesome on Joe's podcast and I googled him and it already existed haha. Awesome.
yes hes got a great vibe with aubrey, id love to see him with duncan trussell what with their differing ( possibly) life and death views but the mutal meditation perspective. if that goes great a podcast with the great Graham Hancock is in order.
At frist Joe and Aubrey wouldnt shut up... but Greenes wisdom and charisma eventually shut them up. Had em eating out his hand.. The quiet one has the most power.

I dig Joe, loved a lot of his podcasts. However I love Robert Greene, at first I didn’t like the direction this discussion was going but some how Greene always enlightens with tidbits of information, that is his art. Loved the way he explained his writers discipline.
Robert Greene? Seriously??? I just pulled out my 48 Laws of Power and 33 Strategies of War for the first time in years today and was really getting in to them. Quite the coincidence.
He could have just kept it all to himself and played the game and left everyone more ignorant than they were and had a major advantage over many if not most.

Joe was kind of a jack ass in this one. Knowing what I know now about Robert Greene, who is unbelievably intelligent and insightful, he displayed a lot of patience. No wonder he hasn't been back. 2020 Joe would have shown Robert more respect.
I am a long JRE listener. I am listening to Joe since 2009 and this style of Joe podcasting is better than today. He is more loose and true to that moment, where as today he is more concerned with not saying too outlandish things or deflecting SJWs.
that’s wild.. his book regarding the sublime comes out in 2 months. This pod was 10 years ago.
