Hello everyone! I've been really busy this week, so just a short and simple video to cap off the month for you today. Which new detail or reveal, big or small, is your favourite in the Hell Chapter? Are you excited for Bleach's future? Let me know your thoughts!
Have you ever explained why "Burn the Witch" is different from the soul society in "Bleach"? Because from what I'm aware of, they are both in the same universe, but Europe soul society is different.
This just occurred to me but the Gyaru girl Yuyu could be related to Yoriuchi. If not by blood maybe discipled or even just inspired by her and she uses Hakuda more than a Zanpakuto. Maybe she will show us an animal type Shunko later or something like that.
Could you do a timeline of the Captain and VC in-service and at which era they serve? When did they start and when/how did their service end (killed/retired/promoted). Starting from the current era and working backwards to the earliest captain and perhaps beyond that. Another interesting idea is a ranking of Bleach's youngest to oldest characters. It would be really great to speculate (like Yama-jii and Osho) and how appearance can be deceiving.
I think the chapter is a work of art. The Hell Hollows are new and terrifying looking. There's an Eldritch horror aspect to them. The revelations of sending Captains to Hell is great. It also implies someday, all of our Captain's and Ichigo will one day be forced to Hell. It's a consequence that nobody really understood. They should've never grown so weak to lose so many Captains and they're once again paying the price for the Noble House's secrets.
The fact that the Captains become residents of Hell has been one of the best new information about the series. It's almost like a cost that no one had been told if they ever decided to be strong.
It makes me wonder what will happen to Ichigo in the end, if his mentality might be taken into account of how strong he's been. I'm very excited to see what's next!
@@PGGreatOakthe way I always thought about ichigos path,, Since he was born of the human world, when he dies he would go the the soul society and become a proper captain
One personal theory of mine is that since it was implied that Hell is the last leftover of the ancient chaotic world before the separation the Three Worlds sort of act conjointly to contain it, not just Soul Society. All three of them exert pressure because of the high level spirtual presences within then that keeps the Hell's Gates shut. And throughout the series entire running we saw each one of them slowly losing their most powerful components, The Arrancars/Espadas from Hueco Mundo, The Quincys from Earth and the Captains from Soul Society. Meaning that the reason why Hell's Gates are opening is because there are no longer enough spiritual energy in the Three Realms to contain it. I like that approach more because it leaves open a clear reason for all Three Realms to come together and fight against Hell. Imagine our favourite Arrancar, Quincy and Shinigami joining together in a crazy and bloody Doom-style incursion to Hell
Best theory I have seen so far! Honestly lines up with how Tito Kube has been explaining a lot of things in the universe its all a balancing act. Quick example: needing to use ichigo to replace the soul king.
I never thought about it until you pointed out Yumichika's design changes, but with the peacock and flower motif, is that an indicator he's using his true zanpakuto? After getting his ass handed to him by zombie Hitsugaya, he looked like he was about to activate it. Maybe he learned then that limiting himself almost cost them everything and he's willing to grow.
Both of them already showed character development in TYBW. Yumichika was happy to use kido in front of ikkaku and almost released his true zanpakuto. Ikkaku tag teamed with yumichika against giselle and the other vice captains against mask instead of only doing 1v1s like he used to. He didn’t use his bankai but as we found out from mayuri he wasn’t not using it because he didn’t want to it’s just that it broke against edrad and has almost no power anymore so no point.
Ones a got a Physicist/Surgeon thing and the other has a Biologist/Geneticist thing. It’s two different means of something in a similar vein. One is internal transmutation, and the other is external transmutation.
@@chickenmonger123 and thats why they're so scary as a team. When you see a heist movie, not every member of the heist is a driver, or a thug. You have to have a diverse team of the best people.
The concept of spirit class was in fact touched upon quite early in the manga - Kaien Shiba was described as having the 6th class when he joined either the Academy or the Gotei (can't quite remember that detail). Anyhow, it's an older concept that Kubo dug up instead of making it up just now.
It's going to be incredibly interesting to see what Kubo does, if and when, with the Hell arc. One thing I'm really hoping for is that it isn't *merely* another rescue mission with a linear string of boss battles, as it were. Like, I would absolutely love if, when this arc materializes, it was a monthly affair so Kubo could really delve deep into things like the lore and history of the Soul Society and some of the less developed characters, factions, etc of the series. Bleach is a shōnen battle series, but a slower paced arc would be amazing- and it (hopefully) wouldn't kill Kubo in the process. Also, completely random thing. I love how Bleach started when flip-phones were the norm, but slowly went out of fashion as the series went on, and now in the hell chapter they have smart phones. Would be so funny to revisit the hell chapter in a phew years when smart phones will have inevitably gone out of fashion😂
It really is amazing just how much foreshadowing there's been about Hell and how much Hell has been lurking in the background of Bleach all this time. Certainly some of it is because Kubo just set it to the side in favour of other topics after it was introduced way back at the beginning of the series, but Kubo's also been laying some important groundwork for what's obviously about to come. There's the Hell Butterflies, of course, but there's also the fact that, after CFYOW, the only noble house that hasn't been revealed is supposed to have joined the plot against the Spirit King in order to put a lid over Hell and whatever is down there which says to me that they're most likely going to become important figures in the new arc to come. I'll also restate my crack theory here just in case it happens to be proven right. I think the one who is calling to Kazui is Kaien, having been sent to Hell alongside Aaronneiro and then either being freed or freeing himself and, now that the doors to Hell can be opened, is now eager to meet his great-nephew. It would be such a masterstroke of the series if a character who never actually appeared, but was central to the entire series even happening in the first place managed to come back and having all these characters be in Hell seems like a perfect opportunity to me!
rukia looked so cute on her graduation day being appointed to captain she deserves it with all the crap she went through, but all our favorite characters go to hell even if heros? Ichigo needs to kill hell next, have Rukia and adult Toshiro freeze the hell out of it lol
Even though it’s not cannon, the movie where Ichigo went to Hell to same his youngest sister, the sword would belong to the guardian of Hell, the giant creatures who torture and kill sinners
@@galaxyexe3627 I feel you. I meant the one that killed that hollow at the beginning of the show, not in the movie. The gates have been referenced a few times already
I just think it's crazy in a good way how a single chapter recontextualized so much about Yhwach's ambitions. Because the current situation in the Bleach setting is unsustainable. Eventually Hell would claim far too many powerful individuals and stopping them would be virtually impossible. Ichigo and his allies preserved the status quo, and now they're reaping the consequences.
It's a case of a lesser evil. Yhwach was a warmonger and sociopath. He had no qualms about killing his own men and would absorb their power if he felt like it. I feel that people are too in love with the idea of Aizen and Yhwach having "good intentions". They were both tyrants who had no qualms about torturing and killing if it helps them sit at the top of the world. Just because they called out Soul Society's bullshit doesn't make them good people. If anything, it's like the villain of Megamind said about "a change in administration" and not positive change. The Soul Society has a lot of flaws but people thinking Yhwach and Aizen were going to be better are so funny. They are the same as the people who end up betrayed by them. Basically the audience being Hinamori. Besides, if Kubo ever finishes this arc, we all know Ichigo and his friends are going to win and everything is going to be alright.
@@kevintanza6968If I’m gonna choose a different administrator (meaning the one now, the nobles and Ichibei are way too fcked up), I want the possessive evil, not warmonger evil.
@@kevintanza6968 yeah sometimes the enemy of your enemy is actually just a worse enemy. Just cause a villain has a point doesn't mean they'd do better with power. Nothing about Yhwach or Aizen suggests they'd do better.
I'm not sure what reordering the 3 worlds would have done to help keep Hell contained, really. Hell existed at the same time as the Primordial World, and it's stated that the 3 worlds were created _in part_ to act as a lid on Hell.
I'd like to see Zaraki fight all the previous Kenpachis in hell. Another idea, how about a reunion of Rangiku and Gin. I always felt like there was a need for some more closure there.
- Kon is still a mod-soul. He is a spiritual entity, no less then a ghost or soul reaper. He could kick and jump leagues above the human norm in ichigos body. He has way more spiritual powers then any human. Touching spirits is trivial for him. And even hollows are "physical" enough to scatch buildings. - Presumably, the Konso Reisai is a rather private ceremony. Renjis Captains were/are Kenpachi and Byakuya. Who are still alive and kicking. He has no direct reason to be present for any of them. However, Rukia is connected and as such her husband is a "possible invitees" too. Rukia was Ukitakes subordinate. And his replacement as a Captain. That is about as direct a connection as it goes. Ichigo is Rukias student - for his first phase as Substitute Soulreaper. Ukitake was probably also the "Substitute Soulreaper Liason", giving Ichigo a secnd reason to be on the "possible invitees" list. So it makes sense all 3 are invited to his Konso Reisai. - Kisuke probably got acustomed to TV spending 100 years in the World of the Living. He wouldn't miss it back in Soul Society. - Omeada now looks more like "fat, rich merchant" then "Member of the stealth corp". Maybe Soifon relaxed the dress code? Or just started respecting him enough to let his fashion sense slide? "Fat Guy" was his method of subterfuge before, during Fake Karakura Arc. And "Fat Rich merchant" might be his new act now. - Yamamoto was very traditional in the allowed Captain Coat designs. He even scolded three of the Captains for loosing theirs in the Aizen battles. It seems like Kyoraku is way more relaxed here.
Not that surprising, considering Soul Society is based on Tokugawa-Era feudal Japan. Very wary of outsiders, that cultural legacy remains to this day in a lot of ways.
I figured it was cause Ichigo had a much more personal relationship with Ukitake given he was Rukia's Captain, Ichigo's Liaison for the Soul Society, and related to Ukitake's former Vice Captain Kaien But maybe there is still a level of distrust
That's really honestly in my top ten questions of Bleach, especially considering we've seen what Mayuri actually looks like way back in the Soul Society arc.
I dont think the Konso Reisai lore could be from the first generation of the Gotei. If Yamamoto had known about the possibility of such a thing happening, why would it became tradition in the organization he led with an iron fist through strength? A man of his determination towards the safety of the seireitei and human realm wouldn't be taking the chance of sending strong underlings to hell. That would not only be endangering the seireitei through giving his enemies strong new members, but likely would cause the balance between the realms to become disrupted
As far as knowing that throwing dead captains into Hell would specifically destabilize the boundary so it could be opened from the Hell side, probably not. With having Muken as a void of reiatsu, if that particular issue was known, they could have had that double as a morgue as an option. As far as would Yamamoto allow deceased captains to be thrown into Hell, considering how he talks about the first captains, I could see it. They were not exactly the best people to have around, especially if you needed not-violence. Depending on what keeping that ultra-dense reiatsu does, I'm not 100% sure Yamamoto wouldn't at some point consider that an appropriate end to keep Soul Society safe. At least for the first captains. The later ones I'm less sure of, but that might be related to the "died in battle" part. I'd have to give it some more consideration.
The fifth noble family knows about konso reisai's true purpose since they were un charge of putting a lid on hell. It was probably the only way to do so, sending captain level shinigamis to maintain it.
I like the idea of the captain's who aren't all evil being wardens of sorts keeping things in check But it seems hell twists and changes people so they may be in a way evil now Serving Hell and it's interests solely
Kinda looks like animals or animal-like beings are quite related to hell now. Super interested on how this reintegrates Yoruichi and Komamura back to the story
Do you think Szayelapporo’s chains are the same as Kokuto’s ? Hell was always considered the dumpster of the worlds. In actuality it’s a place where all the scum, pain and nightmares come together. And all out for revenge
Call me dumb or crazy but you aside from fallen or banished shinigama ( kenpachis who've literally become demons ) think Lucifer or Satan exist or both . It be crazier if biblical or mythical devil exists as well like Lilith or Bezzalzub excuse my awful spelling.
I'm convinced Yuyu is just using Hakuda/hand to hand. That scene was structured in a way that each person went to use a different Shinigami art; she strikes with Hakuda, Akon goes right to Kido, then Rindo uses his Zanpakuto. It just makes more sense that she's being a Yoruichi and doing cool hand to hand and animal based stuff without her Zanpakuto.
I think the whole reason ichigo's zanpakuto looks exactly like how it did when he first unlocked his shinigami powers through urahara's training, was because that form was always his true shikai. Just like how the other characters in bleach unlocked their true bankai like renji, his shikai did not change in any form whatsoever. The dual wield zanpakutou was simply a reforged zanpakutou and after he did a bankai and got his inner yhwach aka soul fragment of yhwach or quincy powers stolen back by yhwach the man himself, all that was left was zangetsu/white so ichigo's zapakutou reverted to it's original intended form.
Love this new analysis by you about this coming arc. Two things that I love its: 1-That the Jailers of Hell have new abilities thanks to the chains so it's refreshing that even if we have returning characters, they will fight in a different way (In addition to the OG Gotei 13). 2-I found really interesting and sad, that the SS (I absolutely sure that its more by the Central 46/Ichibei side) still consider Ichigo as an ally (even as a tool in a certain way) after all the effort that he did during all the previous arcs. P.S: Another thing that I really want to know is how will be Chad (due to the nature of his powers and Spanish terms using hell as motif) and the quincies be involved in this arc (I would love that Yuzu and/or Karin could develop quincies powers and Uryu could train them).
@@SinHurr Satoru Chad gets a redemption ( along despite the bumps he has had share of wins - although some of development could be better) redemptive spot as Ichigo left - Uryu right hand man . Also hope he gets a hell related power-up
I know what im going to say is a strech but i think the two fish at the start of the chapter couldve been a hint at Ukitske at the end sense he's a Pisces. One of the fish dying could also be symbolic about Ukitake dying and leaving Kyoraku alone.
It's great that Kisuke has contributed to Soul Society's progress via making general technology available. The boundary of hell cracking open is certainly going to make things dicey, no way can rampaging demons causing chaos be kept secret especially when they cause mass casualties in the human world and don't stop. This may be a Doom type scenario. Who knows, maybe Shunsui will step up and actually reveal this to humans in an attempt to stem the tide but that's just me speculating.
Kubo’s great at designing new characters and introducing dozens of them at a time. Making them interesting or important to the story is a whole other ball game.
Kubo's drawings are second only to Miura imo the OPM and JJ mangakas are also great but i don't like their character designs as much as Kubo's characters
Not a lot of people talk about it, but I for one I'm interested in seeing Tetsuzaemon Iba shikai/bankai powers etc. The reason being that he was always a supporting of a supporting character, like Kubo himself didn't even know what to do with him story-wise not even what powers to give him. Considering that Iba was introduced relatively early in the series but still has this many question marks about him makes him more intriguing. The Hell Chapter could definitely redeem him or shit on him more 😅
Im guessing we're getting Yammy's story with the dog and some Espada returning like Barragan. We could get New Captains Vs the 1st as well as rematches such as Nnoitra Vs Neliel now that theres no sneak attacks nor Nel losing her power mid fight, Ulquiorra Vs Ichigo now that Ichigo has full control of his Zanpakto and he wont lose control like last time, and we might get to see Stark in his "True" form (obviously different and changed cause of Hell)
Regarding the Konso Reisai Ceremony and who attended them it is possible that those who participate need to have been close to the one the ceremony is for. Unohana and Yamamoto being the oldest serving members of the Gotei 13 would have few living peers and, fewer still, people who were truly close to them. This would explain why ceremonies were made separately. In all likelihood the participants for both Unohana and Yamamoto would be the same scantily few individuals who would also need to perform both short-handed justifying the time between ceremonies as well. Whereas Ukitake was a much younger and friendlier Shinigami who probably touched and was a part of the lives of many people who would be invited to participate in his ceremony. This explains why Ichigo and Renji were only invited to Ukitake's Ceremony because in spite of both being powerful fighters, survivors of the TYBW and saviours of Soul Society they were not in fact close to either Unohana or Yamamoto.
I have a theory that could explain why powerful characters that are being sent to Hell receive new titles and seemingly transform visually. I think that whoever rules Hell, has the ability similar to Yhwach's schrifts that allows them to grant boosted, abnormally evovled versions of powers of those that are cast to Hell. In return, the receiver makes some sort of a deal with Devil, echaining his soul and becoming a full servant to Hell's ruler. If someone refuses to make such deal, they will be tormented in Hell as long as they refuse to surrender. Hell is all about unlimited potential. It's the place where everyone can get the true, UNCHAINED versions of their powers all the while being ENCHAINED to serve "The Ruler" in return. I think whoever rules Hell, wants to make their own army of the strongest ones, bestow laws and full control over their dimension and then launch a full conquest to other dimensions too.
Another reason I hope the jailers are just the low - tier , creatures - demons are middle and the warden 💥🌟✨🌟💥🕳️ the actual Avatar for the actual actual king of Hell /ruler 📏 📐📐 📏 of the Hellverse.
Flat out, I was kind of disappointed with a lot of Kubo's decisions both in the Arrancar arc and the TYBW. I never really thought the idea of more Bleach would appeal to me, especially since it felt like after TYBW, any truly exciting stories or characters I was specifically interested in were done. I was pleasantly surprised by how the Hell Arc chapter was presented, and actually found myself wanting to see it followed up on. It's one of the only parts of the Bleach universe that haven't been (canonically) explored, and it even has the added bonus of possibly letting some characters that were woefully underutilized actually get some additional development and exposure. Yes, I stan Ukitake.
Yeah the 12 years thing always felt off, I felt a bit of tweaking could've pushed the timeline to 13 years so it can match the number of squads or something I want to believe that Kubo did at least a page a week since this came out 3 years ago, I want to believe.
What if the reason ichigo has his original shikai shape back is because it is a self inflicted gentei kaijo situation. Since his original shikai was a fraction of his true power, and we have seen characters using false names which weaken or hide their true powers such as renjis bankai as well as yumichikas shikai, ichigo could be doing the same as to not release his full power and affect the world of the living which was stated to be a reason by kyoraku to not allow ichigo back to the human world
4:22 Okay this just came to me...the fish snippet could be a story uktiaki was telling kazui l Bout how reiatsu works and suchnand the flying fish.. Trying to get kazui within reach of the reason why Hell and gouhls pop upd
You should make more toshiro videos! Discuss how Toshiro vs Rukia in tybw would go and also Starrk vs Ulquiorra. Maybe also make a ranking of all of Byakuyas fights worse to best
I have a theory that may be Hell can properly decompose a captain's reishi and return it to the soul society or reincarnation cycle(whatever) so the captains or any captain class shinigami were sent to hell before and after the establishment of Gotei 13 but these two wars- the one with aizen and tybw sent too many captain class shinigami/hollows to hell in too short of a time creating a disturbance in the balance of soul society and hell (aizen and yhwach's disappearance made things worse) and opening the doors of hell. One more thing to make things much more interesting would be to make something like a king of hell which would be could be somewhat related to the soul king or even older than him
There’s quite few questions to ask like everyone’s mentioned about the original captain’s but then there’s also like every other captain since then too as well as well like almost all the kenpachis and likely even other powerful hollows/ arracerrs for like the past million years like how could not to mention whatever else maybe in charge of hell like for what I see hell is pretty much unstoppable.
I'm incredibly excited to see the direction the Hell arc will take. For the entire series, we've been presented with this drive to grow stronger, to always be strong enough to protect what you care about. This is the first time in a long time I think, in a series that has also always been about maintaining balance, that we are shown the consequences of power. I also wonder if we've truly seen the end of Yhwach. His fear of death in this current world system is absolutely justified if he foresaw the kind of place Hell is with the All Mighty. I have some headcanon that perhaps he was trying to reunify the primordial world so he could then deal with Hell (since from I remember that predates even the primordial world).
Such a great chapter! I can't wait for the start of this brand new arc for Bleach, any day now..... Hopefully we won't have to wait what is it now? nearly 3 years?
Man, I'm so glad the Bleach fandom hasn't turned out like the Batman Arkham fandom, considering how much time it's been The Batmanarkham subreddit is insane. Stupid, even
@@jordantinucci3509 it was like this before SSKTJL I think it's best we forget the game tho. Unless they actually try to improve it, it's not worth speaking about
How different would the Winter War would’ve been if Aizen returned Sza to his original power while maintaining his personality? A Cero Espada with power and intelligence.
so i read the hell one shot about 3 times and realized something on my third read. after the panels where ichigo and soul society are fighting the hell "hollows", it cuts to Kazui opening the hell portal saying "It's okay! Everyone is in there". However, in between the panels, it says 3 years later!! Maybe soul society, or the people in soul society along with Ichigo are inside hell and Kazui is still bringing spirits to "Soul Society"?
I think they wait those years for the ritual isnfor the spirit of the captain to weaken in strength before sending them to hell, its just that these past decade there have been so many captain deaths that it too much to bear and even 12 years isnt enough to make a dent for the ritual to work properly.
It would be interesting to see a different spin on the Bleach/Hell interaction, as there is a clear way to subvert it. We were given that the primordial world was split into the human world, Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo using the Soul King's power. There was no reference to Hell in that, with references in the main story being very brief. An amusing take would be for the Bleach and Hell universes being different entirely. In other words, the ritual to cast captain level souls into Hell by the shinigami, and the hollows cast into Hell for this sins could be casting them into another world (isekai), with different power systems and so on. Which is why the Bleach characters couldn't detect the Hell hollows, as the power system was different. With the deaths/sealing of so many powerful entities in the TYBW arc, the one-shot Kubo released could easily be taken as a warning shot from that other world (Hell) to stop sending them the Bleach universe's problems, or be sent all of their crap back.
Considering what we learn in the one shot, I wonder if characters like as Gin, Tosen and others could also make a return. I would certainly love to see them again, maybe even reuniting with Aizen, or better yet, Gin reuniting with Rangiku
Rukia new hair is closer to that of her sisters and also the kisuke clone. Which BTW I am 85% sure that clone is from rukia or her sister. It mentions ururu us most likely a clone. I like Ikkaku with that gold armband. Wish Kubo kept it. I really like Yumichika's new design. Interesting that Baraggan isn't connected to Hell, considering that he's a skeleton which appear on the gate, and he wore purple and black which are the colors that Szayelapporo is wearing when he returns. If Atau can commune with animals, i wonder if he can understand Sajin. That is if Sajin still has his mind, but his great-grandfather still did, so...
since this is somewhat related to the video, why were rukia and renji able to have kids? werent the whole reason why toshiro and rangiku not recognising isshin because its not possible for soul reapers to have kids? did kubo ever explain that or did i miss something
They recognised Isshin. They just choose not to say anything to respect his wishes. Humans and Soul Reapers can have kids, when the Soul Reaper is in a gigai (at least the special Urahara gigai).
I wonder if travel in and out of hell was a more common thing before the soul king was around since one of the noble clan ancestors wanted to put a lid on it
As a new manga reader I want to ask something, is this arc connected to a filler episode in anime? because in an episode a hollow was comeback from hell and espada in thumbnail was in that episode too. Is what happened in that episode connected to this arc in manga?

To be fair, Mayuri does say he always wanted to keep to the sereitei's "aesthetic" when making tech but someone forced his hand this time.

When I saw that giant Ukitake shikai, it made me wonder....whose sword was it the very first time we saw that hell gate?? 😨
Even though it’s not cannon, the movie where Ichigo went to Hell to same his youngest sister, the sword would belong to the guardian of Hell, the giant creatures who torture and kill sinners

Ichigo did not preserve the status quo
I'm not sure what reordering the 3 worlds would have done to help keep Hell contained, really. Hell existed at the same time as the Primordial World, and it's stated that the 3 worlds were created _in part_ to act as a lid on Hell.
I'd like to see Zaraki fight all the previous Kenpachis in hell. Another idea, how about a reunion of Rangiku and Gin. I always felt like there was a need for some more closure there.
Wouldn’t Zaraki at this point just neg them?

Weird how they still consider ichigo an outsider despite him saving the soul society twice over.
ichigo is like 16 those people are 100 times that age 1600 year olds who had friends for 50+ years prese understrand

@@sofarsogood8680 True, he's also literally still human as you said
Not that surprising, considering Soul Society is based on Tokugawa-Era feudal Japan. Very wary of outsiders, that cultural legacy remains to this day in a lot of ways.
I figured it was cause Ichigo had a much more personal relationship with Ukitake given he was Rukia's Captain, Ichigo's Liaison for the Soul Society, and related to Ukitake's former Vice Captain Kaien
But maybe there is still a level of distrust

Would be crazy if the 5th noble rules or has connections 2 hellverse.
I like the idea of the captain's who aren't all evil being wardens of sorts keeping things in check
But it seems hell twists and changes people so they may be in a way evil now

If & only if Hell Verse movie is confirmed to be canon for real!
The Spirit Class measurement was actually first mentioned by Kaien in a Flashback 19:21
I think ganju said it first, but ganju said it about kaien so that’s about right.
It seems to me one of Kubo's stocks-in-trade is hiding things in plain sight.
Hmm. I wonder if Yumichika's more flowery motif indicates he may have accepted the true nature of his Zanpakuto and stopped hiding it from everyone.
True . Think he has Bankai now
Love this new analysis by you about this coming arc.
Wonder if Uryu could be handing out Schrifts in a pinch.

The Gotei 13 were unaware that they were sending the deceased to hell until recently. Now that they know they’ll probably try to change it.
I know what im going to say is a strech but i think the two fish at the start of the chapter couldve been a hint at Ukitske at the end sense he's a Pisces. One of the fish dying could also be symbolic about Ukitake dying and leaving Kyoraku alone.
Tom I absolutely love your channel and all the content you post!! Can’t wait to new season of bleach to come back and watch it along with you!!!

One more thing to make things much more interesting would be to make something like a king of hell which would be could be somewhat related to the soul king or even older than him
❤ like second or third generation younger and stronger slightly with inverted story to add to your point.
If Bleach does come back, I hope that the new captains get a fight with some time to shine, especially Lisa.

Rukias new hairstyle is the one byakuya had when he was training in the Turn back the pendulum arc
Akon's ability at 14:51 is probably some kind of kido--the chant involved is a Mahjong hand.
Maybe they let Ichigo attend because didn’t Ukitake give him his badge?
