Thanks Will, I am a ham radio operator and this unit could be really handy for times when we are called out in an emergency, such as severe storms or earthquakes.
This unit is perfect! When I go camping across the country I’m definitely taking it with me. It’s crazy how many things it can power. I hope you get this model. I provided a link in the description for you as well. Thanks for watching too.
Better check that background noise distortion on this unit. A lot give off a lot of interference. The standby consumption is 100 watts so running a rig wouldn’t be advised. Anker makes smaller units that would be perfect. I have many brands and Point Zero Titan is a great low frequency system. Good luck.
I'm homesteading in place in Fl and use my power station not only for hurricanes but also to supplement my everyday electric usage powering my Den. It has really made a difference in my bill. I'm now investing in a solar array and a couple of batteries. It doesn't have to be a disaster or whole house solar. Thanks for demonstrating what these workhorses can do.
Hey Carlos! So happy that you are always here to supply! I just finished my other tiny house and it was a lot of work and other building projects on the land. Today we also just completed a deck and I can’t wait to jump I’m the sauna.
I love him so much he’s definitely one of my favorite uncles. This solar generator works well and even in low sunlight. I like that it charges fast if you need to plug it into your wall power to recharge it. In case of a power outage you could run your lights, fridge, washer/dryer and other large appliances with no problems. It’s definitely better than the gas powered one that I have.
I have the same Ryobi generator. It’s easily flooded, so I have to drain the fuel bowl below the carburetor using the drain screw. After closing it back off it starts right up.😊
I know you’re further south, but did you find out how long it took the solar panels to charge it back up? We live in the Northeast and only have an inverter so far to keep the pellet stove running. Trying to find the best generator for our needs. Thanks for the review!
@WillEdmond i have hade mine plus expansion battery for about 6 months now. Love it. Surprised how powerful it really is. Can easily power my 3 ton central ac (with a soft start) amazing product.

such a joy to watch you and your uncle interact!! Great info. What would you suggest for an area that doesn't get a lot of sun??

With 4 large panels you can charge it up with full sunlight in about 4 hours. That’s at 1100 KWH
Everyone hit the like button now now

Do we know anything about the F3800 Plus? Anker just updated the app to support an F3800 Plus. Possibly more battery power?
Hey Mark, I’m assuming that F3800 + is just a way to add an expansion battery. How are you liking the Anker Solix so far?
@WillEdmond i have hade mine plus expansion battery for about 6 months now. Love it. Surprised how powerful it really is. Can easily power my 3 ton central ac (with a soft start) amazing product.
@WillEdmond oh also FWIW the app update says support for "F3800 Plus portable power station " i think we are going to see an updated model shortly.
