Don’t forget he needs his space too. My husband after 36 years has always had his spaces and he deserves it too.
Depends if he works from home or not. She works entirely from home and has built her business now out of homemade crafts. This space is not just for fun- it's her home office and her business HQ 😄. It's nice to have your own man cave if your home is big enough, but not at the expense of an actual working space that generates income for the family.
Yeah it’s true for some men and relationships where husband and wife each have their space but you can’t let having space translate into emotional space between you and your husband! That’s when things start to fall apart🙁you have to have the same relationship with your husband like how Jesus has with his church and there’s no space between the Lord and His church!
Yama Ohh having your own “space” within the home shouldn’t be dictated by whether or not the space generates income. Yes her office is for her job. But each member of a household should have their own “space” that is theirs to retreat to when needed. It doesn’t have to be a whole room, it could be something as simple as giving that person alone time in a particular room when they need it. Or a cubby for them to store their hobby supplies. Same goes for children.

good reminder, i also realize i control too much on how furniture and other things arranged in my home that makes my husband feel like he only has small freedom and need my permission to arrange thing in the house.. xD

I generally dont like wall mounted shelves. The ones that I see a lot usually look like they belong in a basement or garage. But the ones you chose with the wooden supports and brass bookends are lovely. Good job!

I’m a bit limited with what I can do with renovating my room right now as I still live home with my parents, but just your concepts of minimalism have really inspired me. I fixed up my desk area the other day, and it just feels so much more open and free 😁
