I'd only heard about Warlocked from your channel before, but it looked so impressive that I'm excited to learn more about Martin.
00 Space Invaders was really cool. I can see it inspiring someone to learn to dev.
12 I really should go back and play some ZX Spectrum games, just to understand the history better, even though it wasn't common in the US.
34 DK meets Pacman sounds like a fun premise 😀
04 I did hear about Sorcery, but I've never played it. I know it gets referenced a lot in gaming history though.
14 "Best investment ever!" is probably what his dad thought 😀
40 I get asking that question... but I'm shocked they didn't just say, "Nope." True genius to think through how to make that happen on such an underpowered machine. Crazy!
The fact that he was able to successfully collaborate with people so early on in his career is impressive too!
44 WOW! 5 months is impressive for something that stretches the GameBoy to its limits
19 travesty! It is crazy how much of commercial success doesn't have anything to do with the game, but more with the marketing/distribution machine around the game.
18 does he remember Gauntlet, lol. Of course we do!!! 😀
22 that's a fun little tidbit. A lot of modern gamers probably don't realize GameBoy isn't back lit, since they play it in emulators.
37 hmm... I'll have to check out Vector Lovers.
46 yeah, solo devs are impressive... but it so rarely pays off.
47 might wanna add a link to that in the video description
07 right? Just thinking about VR compared to late 90s stuff is such a shocking change!
Another fantastic interview for the history book! Well done, Tiger!
