Very good video. I have some questions though about management of symptomatic rabies. I can't find anything online at all about how symptoms are managed. I understand it's almost always fatal but don't we still need to manage symptoms? I know we need intense cardiopulmonary support. I'm imaging we need to intubate or use a trach, how about nasogastric or G tubes? Can we use an NG tube when they're hydrophobic (with spasms of the pharynx)? Or would we need to switch to a G tube or TPN via central line? Mostly I'm just curiois in which way we feed the patient? Thank you

Sir if the hospital suggested surgery to clean the wound because of the depth of the bite wound on hand and gave loose stiches and covered the wound is it okay? And also due to negligence on the part of the hospital the day 3 vaccine was missed and immunoglobulin was given instead. To correct this mistake the 2nd dose was administered on day 7 and the third dose was administered on day 10. Is this something to worry about?
I got needle stick injury from a stray puppy's drip needle ( who has been bitten by a dog). I am taking anti rabies and TT injection. My friend who is a MBBS student suggested yo take hepatitis B vaccine as well but doctors are denying its requirement.what should I do.
Instead of applying booster dose of rabies vaccine, I have done complete course, I am afraid that I may not have any problem going ahead, please give me some advice because before that I had done complete course, once this time I had to get booster dose done.

Doctors should not give ARV in gluteal, they knows it well...check it with WHO guidelines

Hi. My puppy(unvaccinated) bite my hand while playing and the next morning my arm got Aching. I had tetanus shot. After i went to doctor he said it's no need for rabies vaccine. After three days I got high fever/headache and pain in my arm. So I went and got anti rabies vaccine (3 days after bite) . It happened in 2016. The puppy grew, gave birth to puppies and it was alive and healthy for like a year. But I still get pain in the arm (where I got Bitten) along with fever and headache every month for days. It's been 7 now years now
