Last Friday we had a checkup in the hospital with Loulou. Her blood values were perfect and even her calcium more than good. Lactation is no problem because her calcium can no longer fall as it was, we were told. The drip had helped her. We give the puppies solid food 3 times a day which helps Loulou. No extra check was needed because it was good ..... Yesterday when we wanted to go to bed, Loulou was panting out of nowhere and so restless. Fred immediately called the hospital and wanted her to be checked. They thought she had eaten something wrong, but no. Her calcium level was even lower than ever before. She had to get a calcium drip again and had to stay the night in the hospital. We had asked so many times and yet she was back in the hospital. Loulou is a good mother and gives her puppies much more milk than they need. Normally a dog gives the amount of milk that the puppies need but Loulou gives a lot of times a day. To 6 of them. Now she is wearing a romper that the puppies can no longer drink milk. Loulou doesn't like it but it is necessary. There is also some sanitary napkins in it otherwise the pups want to drink through the material. The puppies make growling and irritated noises because they want Loulou's milk. The puppies are doing very well and we are now giving them artificial milk and solid food. They can drink the artificial milk from a plate. I am happy that Loulou has finished lactation, I don't blame anyone but feel guilty towards Loulou and not heard by vets. Our confidence was with them, but this took too long and had not been necessary. Loulou is doing well again and with her romper she can still be with her puppies. We enjoy every day with them. Xxx Eveline
I feel badly for Loulou having to spend the night in the hospital, I can imagine your frustration, whilst being told "she's fine" and the next moment, Loulou being admitted again. I pray for her continued well being. Lots of love to Loulou and her puppies.
I'm so sorry to read she was ill again, but we're all grateful to you and your family for being vigilant with her health. Loulou and the puppies can still bond and she can still nurture them without being sick from it; the romper is a great idea. Thank you for taking the time and for sharing with all of us. Sending strength to little Loulou!
Loulou & Friends Happy to hear that Loulou is well !! Very good idea to put a ramper so she is protected 👍 Loulou is soo cute !! 💖💖💖 Puppies are growing very fast !’
Eveline, sending you hugs. I can only imagine how frustrated and tired you must be. This has been quite a process with sweet Loulou. Please do not feel guilty. You did what you believed was right, and Loulou knows how much she is loved. But I imagine we all understand how you feel, and do not want to minimize your feelings.💕 The puppies are funny and cute and look so healthy. To Loulou, it will all be okay sweet girl. Hang in there. You are the best mommy ever.🌻🌼🌷🥀🌸💐 Love from Texas!
So hard to be disciplined enough to take puppies off Loulou’s milk. Hopefully it will go smoothly. She will get some time to rest and get her strength back. Being a mother is not for the faint in heart. Blessings to all. 😊
the way you care about Loulou is heartwarming. you know her better than anyone and you always make sure she is properly cared for. she is one lucky girl and so are her puppies.
Loulou looks so depressed with that romper on. It is best for Loulou. She will dry up soon. The puppies are so adorable and they are growing up so fast. They are almost a month old now.😁😁😁
@@Loulou_Friends I occasionally dress my dachsie up in little costumes for pics, and I get the same look -- "I'm doing this for YOU, mama, but it's humiliating... take the pictures already and get me out of this thing. I'm sure you're going to put this on Facebook or Instagram... yeah, awesome."
Loulou & Friends, ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ to each & everyone of you ! Eveline, you & Fred are wonderful Pawrents. You have saved LouLou's & puppies precious lives several times over with your razor sharp observation, action & around the clock loving care. LouLou's dejected 😔 is so sad, but she will soon be OK. ❤️ & 🙏 to you all, 🐾❤️
Watching them walk around is so cute. And the way they snuggle with each other is so sweet. Loulou is such a good mother. So happy she and puppies are doing great. ❤
She doesn't like the romper, that's for sure. All mommies wish to be there for their babies and nursing is a beautiful thing that bonds mothers with their infants. It provides you with a loving and rewarding feeling. So, no longer being able to do it probably makes Loulou feel a little down.
The dog version of post partum depression. She can't feed her pups now so she isn't feeling like their mum. She's a first time mum so she will come to see that there is more to being a mum that just feeding time, teaching them to be adult dogs and helping them grow up will help Loulou thru this rough time (grew up with a mum who raised show dogs and she taught me a lot!) You still have THE most amazing channel I have ever seen! I truly love watching you, your family, and of course, dear Loulou!! Cannot wait to see the future of the pups!! Did you ever reveal any information about Puppy Poppa?
THANKYOU Eveline for the update on Lou Lou. She couldn't be in better hands with you and Fred watching so lovingly over her..I admire you so much.. Lots of love to you all from Oz🥰😘🦘🐨.
Poor LouLou... she's a wonderful mother but she looks like she's more than ready to get back to her calm, quiet life without puppies. Glad she's doing better. 💗

You guys are so attentive to Loulou and her puppies. Thank you for being such responsible pet parents. I am SO GLAD you have a romper on Loulou. I love her and she isn't even mine. I was worried when she kept getting sick that she wouldn't get over it. I would be heartbroken if something happened. The puppies will be fine. They are strong and healthy looking from the milk she has already given them this last month.
These puppies are ravenous, that's her instinct to feed them. As much as they suckle, am not surprised she didn't slow her lactation. It's just going to be a few days. The puppies are so healthy and growing so fast. Allow yourself a lot of room to be proud. You advocate for Loulou and knew right away that something was wrong, acting quickly for her wellbeing. Those puppies are going to be just fine. No meals will be missed by this litter!🐾💛❤

Eveline & Fred & the girls have been amazing & wonderful to both LouLou and the puppies during this whole time! They are so loved. Deep breath - you did a fantastic job. .
I am so proud of your determination and passion taking care of these babies! I sure would love having one of the baby girls for my family. My Honey Love is doing wonderful after having her spleen and tumor removed. Auburn University Vet group did a wonderful job of keeping her alive for me! I missed my once in a lifetime cruise but I just could not leave her. She has not been away from me since she was allowed to come home. Something about dachshund just appeal to your heart like nothing else! Two more weeks and your family will start declining. That number 2 boy is going to be the smartest! He is a thinker. Thank you for sharing your adventures! Give LouLou a special good morning for me!
Thanks for showing how to care for animals. In each video you show love, respect, knowledge and beauty. Plus Loulou and the puppies are simply adorable. ❤️

Awww, poor Loulou. she looks so unhappy but I understand the need for her to wear her romper. I would love to hold those puppies, as they are incredibly cute and sweet.
Love seeing LouLou in her romper. I’d never seen a medical shirt before in America. I’ve now ordered one for my pup before her spay in April. So much better than the Elizabethan collars the vets use after surgery here.

It is so sweet to see them becoming real, actual little puppy dogs now! How adorable they all are now that they are walking. I’m sorry Loulou doesn’t like the romper. You can see it on her face... hope she will be happier soon.
Eveline, you are wise. You do it well. Thanks for God, Loulou is getting more and more better :-) Puppies are healthy and strong. You and Loulou did a hard match and you won! Great job. both of you
Poor sweet doggie mommy. I am glad she will no longer be lactating. It’s draining and she’s exhausted. You are a great dog mommy with how well you take care of them. The puppies are getting so big !
Your videos should be shown to everyone who says that breeding dogs is easy money and that the costs of puppies is excessive. Good breeders such as yourself just shows the amount of time and effort that has to go into raising the pups. Yes you could just let nature do it’s thing, but then you would have high mortality and maladjusted pups. Thanks for your commitment....to loulou, her breed, and all of us living vicariously through these videos.
@Doug Widdowson Thank you 🙌🏼. Yes, I get daily comments on social media that I breed Loulou to make money with her puppies. People who don't know what they are talking about and don't know us. Breeding costs money and people need to realize that it takes a lot of time. Loulou has had 2 examinations in advance to check if her body is capable of a litter, the costs of a male, examinations, 3 ultrasounds, worm treatments, vaccinations, passports, microchips, blankets, food, everything. Then there have been an additional 5 veterinary visits and 2 more times a night at the animal hospital. This can always happen. I really hope that people realize what they say with 'making money'.
I love Dachshunds. My beloved Max died last September at the age of 12 years, 4 months. I miss him so, and seeing these beautiful Doxies lifts my spirits, a lot. You're a wonderful doggie parent & your dogs look very happy, healthy and well cared for. I am glad I found your channel. 😊😊🐶🐶🐶
I am following Loulou short before the birth of her puppies. I am really impressed of how much care you take of all of your pets. It inspired me to even get into how food is made for my two pets! =) Hope Loulou is recovering from all the lactation.
I just want to love on loulou and her kids so bad.. The kids sure create alot of joy more and more, ty so so much.. I love getting my doxie fixes, cuz i miss my doxie girls so much.. You are such a amazing family
You are such a good puppy mom! Helping little Loulu out with her babies this way. She needed to stop nursing her babies. You feeding them is wonderful. I had to do this with some puppies who had no momma at all. The pups are so shiny and healthy looking and have lots of energy so you are doing a great job!
She is such a Good Mommy Dog to all 6 of her Puppies but you can tell like all Parents of Very Young She is Worn Out sometimes and Tired but in a Few more Weeks they'll be Weaned and all Ready to Go Out in to the Cold Cruel World All by themselves all a lone into New Homes and Hopefully have there On Doggy Family's One Day.

Wyatt Slater Yes she hates that romper. If she is on the couch with us, we take the romper off.
It’s very stylish.
Is she given anything to help dry her milk up?
she looks mad. i guess you could call her a salty dog. no? i'll leave.

Eveline, you are wise. You do it well. Thanks for God, Loulou is getting more and more better :-) Puppies are healthy and strong. You and Loulou did a hard match and you won! Great job. both of you
They get cuter every video ♥️ little Lou Lou is so precious
The puppies was so cute can't wait to see them growing healthy❤ more videos to come puppies and mommy 💕
I cant tell you how precious LouLou and her babies are. She looks like my boy, Watson the dachshund. Identical. God Bless from Austin TX
You are LouLous protector😘 She and her puppies are lucky to live with you and your family ❤ Joanne
Poor sweet doggie mommy. I am glad she will no longer be lactating. It’s draining and she’s exhausted. You are a great dog mommy with how well you take care of them. The puppies are getting so big !
Se va cansada Loulou. Como gran madre de sus cachorros los ha atendido muy bien.Un gran abrazo para Loulou y besos a sus hermosos perritos.
Loulou's little face says so much!! You can really tell when she's pissed off, sad, or happy. The romper? Makes her sad.
Your so amazing with mommy and her sweet babies. So precious
I love these little guys 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾❤

You are such a good puppy mom! Helping little Loulu out with her babies this way. She needed to stop nursing her babies. You feeding them is wonderful. I had to do this with some puppies who had no momma at all. The pups are so shiny and healthy looking and have lots of energy so you are doing a great job!
Their coats are so shinny and beautiful.
Awww, they're so cute and adorable, they are beautiful pups. I love baby animals.
All my blessings for Loulou and her puppies
She is such a Good Mommy Dog to all 6 of her Puppies but you can tell like all Parents of Very Young She is Worn Out sometimes and Tired but in a Few more Weeks they'll be Weaned and all Ready to Go Out in to the Cold Cruel World All by themselves all a lone into New Homes and Hopefully have there On Doggy Family's One Day.
