What explains the Bangladeshis and Rohingyas coming into such a poor, crime-infested and pooorly governed state? And why arent Muslims leaving for Pakistan and Bangladesh, which must be heaven by comparison? Instead they are multiplying manifold. Take your shit elsewhere
The single reason is that India doesn’t allow dual citizenship. People who have taken up jobs outside India and hence live there, have duty to the society they are living in. They need to take part in the betterment of that place by involving themselves in the democracy there and that’s their duty. Hence they have to naturalize there. Or else they will be in a weird situation where they live, work and pay taxes in a place where they have no say in decision making. And when they do that, Indian law demands that they renounce citizenship. Of course, nothing wrong with India’s expectation too. After all, why would they need people to be citizens and even coming and voting in elections, if they don’t actually live there? So the real question to ask is, why India is not able to provide jobs for all its working age people. And even this is simple to answer: no country can employ everyone, even though India can definitely do better. And therein lies the answer - India does a less than optimal job in providing jobs to everyone, and hence a lot of people end up migrating to other places.
Talent has no place here in India. Only, you can become a babu and be corrupt. Faced this 1st hand. Leaving India is the only option. Modi, alone can't do everything.
