I also wants thank Brian for seeing The Beatles Potential and giving them wings. The Beatles flew all over the world 🌎 and their music 🎵🎶 lives in our hearts 💕🥰 and minds forever. John Lennon and Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr and George Harrison made their Mark's in history. Yeah yeah yeah
They're so legendary they literally invented an extra day of the week. So iconic.

All the little riffs, sounds, short melodic passages, harmonies, and textures are so rich, the influence they had on modern recorded music is incalculable.
@chuckles2020 👉
George was a total opposite of a "shred" guitarist, he played as U described. He got in, added an effective & memorable melody on lead 🎸, & exited back to playing his variety of "Beatle chords", 💯% terrific player 👏
So very true, thank you
Does anyone else get tears in their eyes when they listen to The Beatles? Surely I'm not the only one.
yeah you are the only one. They're only the most successful band of all time, Im sure you have to be the only one who gets nostalgia when listening to them. LMAO
Not for “Eight Days a Week,” but “Eleanor Rigby” or “Across the Universe” can get me misty eyed.
@@JohnDt-zs7is sure, but the Beatles don’t have many tear-jerker songs, at least for me. Springsteen, Kate Bush, and Gillian Welch all have more songs that will make me full-on cry.

Yup, Lennon speaks ahead of his time a lot
Armonías perfectas en sus voces; primera, segunda y tercera voz, casi imprceptibles pero resultaban en un sonido espectacular.
I love the story of how this song got written - Paul was being driven to John and Cyns house to write with John ... and Paul HAD to be driven bc he had so many speeding tickets he got his license taken for awhile and he was conversing with the chauffeur and he said “you doing ok? Working hard?” And the chauffeur said “oh 8 days a week.” And when he got to Johns he said “I got the title!” And they wrote it in 2 hours. Incredible. :)

My girlfriend Margaret lived in NYC and was there that night. She told me all about it over the phone. Shortly thereafter, I saw The Beatles for 2 nights in a row at the Hollywood Bowl - will never forget it. A year later Margaret was living in L.A. and we went to see them at Dodger Stadium and had great seats just above the dugout where they emerged. Great memories and may Margaret rest in peace.
That is what songs are all about .. memories, people. Recently (2020), Paul McCartney was playing somewhere (US?), and the camera captured a 50-60 yo crying like a baby , where everyone around was shouting, singing, etc ... I am quite sure he was capturing great, great, unique, outstanding old memories !

I was at Shea for that concert, as well as the one held there in '66 ! They were the most exciting - and scariest - events of my life! The entire stadium, from the moment the Beatles came out of the dugout was sheer pandemonium... the screams, the flashbulbs going off, kids running on the field trying to reach the stage, kids passing out ...unbelievable! It was like having your hair stand on end for the nearly 30-minutes the Beatles performed! Of course, the video is the only we've got to capture that moment in time, but the imagination of how it must have been can't come close to actually being there!
How lucky! I love reading these stories like yours.

Lucky you, I was born in 67 so I missed it lol
I'm really amazed at the girls' reactions. We usually think that b4 things were different but feelings remain the same. There's a girl (I think) appearing in 2:02 at the bottom right corner laughing looking at others screaming who reminds me myself when I was her age. I'm a man, though... it's a freak thought but maybe it's me lol

Pedigree of Lennon. This man had a some magic. Sadness, Nostalgy , happiness
I was there, at Shea Stadium, in ‘65. My ticket costed 5$. As soon as I saw the poster, that the Beatles would be there, at Shea Stadium, I knew I had to go. I spent hours putting on the right clothes and dressing myself up for the occasion. I arrived two hours early, at 5 o’clock. It was a very warm evening, as I remember, and excitement was filling up. Guests arrived, pulling up with happy faces. Someone brought a banner saying “Help!”. I brought a snack at the bar right before. I also brought some water. I sat myself down, with my friend, who was extremely excited, too. Our seat was quite high, we got a good view, but was sad that we were so far away. Everyone was bouncing off the walls in excitement and happiness. I was so nervous. The second they arrived onstage, a burst of screams came out from the air. I thought I would have gone death. Couldn’t hear ONE THING. The screams were so loud. I remember joining in the screams when George took the vocals in “Everybody’s Trying To Be My Baby”, (I think, couldn’t hear) and being so sad when Paul finished “I’m Down”.
Marvellous night!

I was 10 years old when the Beatles played on Ed Sullivan. I loved them at first sight, but I was never, ever a screamer over them. I honestly do not know why these girls (and some boys) screamed and cried over them. I just sat in silent rapture watching them play. I learned every fact about them I could, and still love them all to this day and I am 66. I cried buckets when John was killed, literally two months after my son was born. I sobbed for George too, whose face was in the large paintings I did at home that hung in my room. I finally got to see Paul McCartney live in 2010 in San Fransisco and Ringo in 2018. Wonderful concerts both!!! They were and still are a part of my entire life. I still have every single vinyl record they made- first editions of them all. I just bought a magazine today that People mag put out on their entire career. Bless these boys and their families. What a legend. What a legacy they gave us....🎼🎵🎶🎹🎸🥁🎸🎸♥💙💚💜💖💝💘💋

IF I had been an only child without older siblings, I imagine I would have been delayed a few more years until I got into music.
The clean, exact clarity and simplicity of their sound set a standard few others have ever reached. It was all about the music, never about themselves as rock stars.

The greatest band that ever walked on earth
Like there’s any other choice
Correction-
The greatest band that ever walked across the universe.
Definitely one of my favorite Beatles tunes. If you weren't a kid at that time I don't think you can comprehend just how big Beatlemania was.
It made us so happy! Our parents were involved, even if they didn't care for the music, or said they didn't! Mike Nesmith told John Lennon that he felt bad for him that, as a Beatle, he didn't get to Experience the happiness of Beatlemania for the rest of the world! We thank them for making the music and being the people that made so much of the world so united and so happy!
Niemand kann Dir das Wasser reichen.
My love❤
If Beatles in 1080p is not a glimpse of heaven, I don't know what else is.
My battery : 1%
Me : listen to this song

@@raptorflame6011 ah yes
A battery that lasts eight days a week!
Dudo que algo parecido a este fenómeno musical aparezca y lo supere...canciones del año 1963,64, 65 y pare de contar son aun escuchadas por millones de pèrsonas...asi jamas moriran... serán escudados por siempre...
The older I get the more in love I am with all the Beatles ❤
Sometimes I stop at 1:48 and just appreciate the connection between John and Paul, I like to think about how much their voices match perfectly and I know it's silly but for me it's magical...
Their voices always sound magic..
1:12 you can imagine how loud was the screams just by looking at the officer
"at 131.35 decibels, the sound within the stadium would have been 28 decibels louder than a jumbo jet flying at 100 feet and 11 decibels louder than a crash of thunder."
Mitch Feder DEAR GOD. My hearing would go down by 12 percent
@@Waterloosunset2 A suppressed pistol would have been quieter at 120 decibels
Damn..this song always makes me cry every time I hear it!
Beetles have never gotten old at all.The songs bring back such euphoric memories.God bless John and George.❤️
I’m 74, a guy, and I want to cry.
Hey legend, hope you’re holding up well, lockdown over soon, eh? I’m so glad I have TH-cam to revisit some classic memories like this, memories that aren’t even mine and yet I can enjoy them all the same. How beautiful :) Wish I was around during The Beatles’ prime like you were!
ITS BETTER IF YOU SMILE
I’m 22 and I love the Beatles as well. Greatest band ever.

@@joeschmo7834 I'm 13 here me and my dad have the same taste in music 😅
My parents were at shea stadium, said it was a once in a lifetime event and would hold dear to their hearts. Thank you for such great memories and stories
I was there! It was amazing!! ❤
Yep , I would have been one of those girls screaming , crying , passing out from screaming and crying .....The Beatles provided the soundtrack for my life...THANK YOU GUYS xxx
Yup
This phenomenon will never occur again, not even close!
TRUE, because they were the original--unique, and what followd was pale imitation.
😭😭
Never again
Yeah i agree that it probably won't occur again but they weren't the only ones... ahem Michael Jackson!
@@MrDaiseymay What followed wasn't pale imitation but it was almost entirely derivative.
I can’t get my head around the fact that there’s people that don’t like the Beatles
Definitely!
Dutch Van Der Linde Dutch, do u have a plan?
@@DannyRoss_ To force them to listen to A Day In The Life over and over again and then ship them to Guarma.
I can't get my head around the fact that there are people who don't even know who they are. I teach high school, and some of my students have never heard of The Beatles. Poor souls.
GPC 0321 I don’t know what’s worse, teaching in a high school, or teaching people that haven’t heard of the Beatles
