The discussion was great but one thing i want to mention is that " Music is haram". There is no second opinion to it. Even i crave for it sometimes but dont listen. Jitna mrzi baat ko ghoomayn ya apni pasand ky points dhoondyn,at the end it is haram. Its also scientifically proven how music harms over thought. Even music industry is one of biggest worker of Matrix and satanism. Why is that then?
I request Erum to have discussion with Sahil adeem on two topics in next session. 1-Music 2- Pardah
Hope you find my comment and discuss these two topics with Sahil. It would be great to hear both of you.

I am a secular person. I just heard about Surah Ar Rahman in the video.. and after that, I heard it, even though I couldn't understand the audio So I read along with a translation in my language. @gullesaba5021 Why should she? What made you think what you believe is better than others? The problem with some Muslims is that they think they are God's gift to earth. You are not. Follow your faith and let others follow their's. They will be guided to their destiny. Do not take over the job of ALLAH/GOD/KUDHA/BHUGVAN/SHEN/YAHWEH.

One thing i feel is too hypocritical in this that eram saeed is bringing up a certain psycology that you can love islam and dilberately not follow islam at the same time it's okay which is not okay.
I mean the way they refer to music and hijab trying to say its not necesassary is too much of hipocrisy. Cause when you love someone you do everything for them how come you claim to love Allah and still not follow what he says?

Here comes the requirement of concept of judgment day, when people said we are not seeing justice. Quran said there will be a day of judgment when you will see justice with your eyes. Without judgment day one can never be able to understand justice in this world. Those who have a firm believe in judgment are always happy.

Sahabiyaat had highest standards , that is why they used to be clear about their decisions ..
    also ,
nature is not asking us to go low in our standards of thinking and choosing mates ..
women who choose high standards usually spend a happy and satisfied life .
Music is not haram .. absolutely true ..
it makes our standards lower , selfish because of dopamine .
    loving ourself is great !
first thing is to get our standards high ... MUHAMMAD a.s should be the alpha male for any muslim woman ..
In Pakistan , we donot follow Our alphas properly that is why women with true standards get disappointed but
even great is the approach if you love your spouse you raise his standards too .... ❤

I am hoping Erum that when you talk about Sahabiat you are clear on the supreme examples of Imams, Ahl e Bait, and the Ansar e Din with and after Prophets life . Khadija, Fatima, Zainab, their strengths in the times of persecution, trials and ofcourse the treasure of Duas written by the Imams. Allah swt stresses on all of us to be clear on what Muslims did or do and what Islam and its true messengers did and professed.

You cant force anyone to leave a situation unlesss they want to. Trust me Ive seen this many times. If somehow you help her, and she leaves, she will always blame you for ruining her marriage.
those who want to leave will leave and those who choose to stay will stay, sometimes people choose comfort, familiarity and convenience over safety, freedom and well being.
Pray for her that she chooses the best course of action for her n her kids.

If understanding the word of God from a source wasnt necessary, Allah wouldnt have sent Prophets. He sent Quran to the Arabs in their language, Arabic, and mind you, they were proficient in Arabic, the best in their times, but it was the Prophet (SAW) they went to, to understand it. Why? Because it wasnt just the language that they needed to understant but the message it carried. You need guidance to understand the word of Allah. Now whats important is that you understand who to seek that guidance from..Other than that,I loved alot of things that you said about acceptance, love for Allah, connecting to Allah, having clarity etc. I feel obliged to mention that Music is indeed Haram. As you mentioned that you encourage research, I would highly recommend you to research on it, listen to different scholars about it. This podcast has many good things but it also twisted some religious matters which saddened me. It is one thing not to follow some teachings of Islam, cus as humans, you tend to fall, to disobey, you sin.But you can always repent, turn to Allah..But it is another thing to reject them as teachings. This stops you from seeing them as sins..stops you from repenting..This scares me. May Allah guides us all.

So sad to hear so many wrong comments from them about religion..if u don't know it's still ok..but u cannt spread a new Islam according to ur thoughts..most dangerous statement mady by Sara was. agar aap muslmn nhi he to it's fine aap ko usi hisab se sawal karenge...ufff so sad sister..read the quran n gain true knowledge from word of Allah..allah clearly said in Quran those doing shirq will never go to heaven....aap jo kah rhi he wo allah ka qalam(words) k opposite he ... aur allah ne quran me Kahan if u don't know ask the person who is knowledgeable on this field... u r nt only making mistakes but spreading a false image about islm ..
This is very wrong sister u r commiting sin sister ...yes allah Said he loves to forgive but does it mean u hav been given free hand to commit sin?? Definitely No.... allah loves to forgive means if u committed a sin u should cry to him he will forgive u..but if u think allah is forgiveable so we should nt fear about sin let's enjoy life according to our own understanding then will he forgive?? U cannot pre-planned to commit sin n enjoy life without following Allah's rule ..u should try ur best to abstain from sin n after that if u r commiting mistake surely Allah will forgive ..May allah give u hidayat

Sadly you have totally taken her point out of context. And that’s the sad reality. Rigidity doesn’t allow ppl to open up and speak.
Did you find anything useful or inspiring from her talk? Comment on that instead of proclaiming that you “know” Quran better than her. She started off by saying I’m beginning this journey to learn and read. So why are you trying to discourage a person who is finding their way back to Allah? Do you really have the courage to stand between Allah and her? I don’t.
And please keep in mind, whether ppl of other religions will go to heaven or not is a scholarly debate with conflicting opinions even amongst very learned scholars.
My two cents: no matter how much you think you know about a topic, there’s always someone who knows more and may have a different opinion. So stop being rigid cause that’s what turns ppl away. Be flexible. And have faith that if she has started the journey by falling in love with Allah, He is fully capable of guiding her (and all of us) to the right path.
