I rather see mistakes than lip syncing
why not both
@@shallex5744 💀 because one is real talent and the lip syncing is just people faking it’s not really fun to watch people do fake performances
@@shallex5744 both are bad to notice, paying all that money to see either someone faking it, or someone that is collecting your money despite not even knowing their parts well enough to play them right
@@zuckleyplays4120 yeah but imagine how entertaining it would be to see a band badly lip syncing, while still managing to fuck everything else up simultaneously
now that would be a spectacle
@@shallex5744 😂 alright I can’t lie that would be amazing to watch
It's just 4 dudes on a stage. 3 of them are human whilst Rob is a machine
He is simply afraid shitless to hear: You are fired!!!!😂
Hahaha, Maybe, but firing the million dollar bass player could be a fatal mistake and the little drummer knows it, Rob is just Rob @@katekrylov
GTFO! Who? He's just there...he's not doing anything special and barely moves.
@@christianelizondo6741he is a milion dolar bassist because they gave it to him. and guitars are loud af so you wouldnt even notice his mistake
@@christianelizondo6741 there is one thing that I have noticed about Metallic : they hate changes. The most stable band, or one of the. Makes perfect sense.
The greatest rivalry in all of metal Kirk vs Nothing Else Matters
It's the notes in between that are f**king with him.
I still have no idea why James isn't the one playing the intro
It's honestly really nice to see James laugh after a mistake rather than kick shit over, throw guitars, etc. It shows how much work he's put into himself as a person - allowing for the little stuff to stay little.
God bless this band and everyone on earth
James failing for the first time: FUCK!
Kirk failing for the 1023125th time: Hey guys I screwed up I'm going to play this again for you :)
As many shows these guys do a year, they all can't be perfect. I'm just happy they are actually playing and not lipsynching.
from 00:00 to 100 what is the name of the song?
@@ibiza-aov Not sure. It's one of the new ones.
@@ibiza-aov Shazam knows
@@micxtricx5149 do you want a cookie ?
rob out there making nomistakes!
it's just no one hear the bass
xD
Well he is the new guy so mistake is a no no
@@err0r2 he has been their bass player for 20 years he aint the new guy anymore
@@err0r2 tfym he is the bass player wich stayed the longest on Metallica,20 whole years!
@@KubaGodeekwe can hear him just fine
Kirk has been messing up the Nothing Else Matters intro since 1991. Im not sure why James doesnt play it live.
Agree with you! He wrote it, recorded it...does Kirk really recorded something on Nothing? 🤔 Maybe James recorded the clean solo part as well? Anyway Kirk can play all the parts...just a little bit of practice 😁 I don't mind about these mistakes, it's part of the show
James plays the solo at the end so I think kirk does the intro so he has a meaningful part in the song
@@HEADBANGER4LIFE37 Not on the studio version, James and Lars wrote the song and James recorded all the guitars ( except Kirk's solos of course ) on every album until Load...
to be fair this intro is a pain in the ass
So, not a music fail, but at their Detroit show, back in November, I watched Kirk stumble and fall on stage as he was running in between playing songs. He jokingly sprawled out and just laid there for a few seconds, before standing back up. He was laughing at it, and the crowd did too. Super good first concert experience overall.
from 00:00 to 100 what is the name of the song?
@@ibiza-aov "You Must Burn!" Off the new album 72 Seasons.
Fun fact: The "FIX ME!" line from Master of Puppets is actually from the PoV of Kirk's guitar which is constantly broken
from 00:00 to 100 what is the name of the song?
@@ibiza-aov the name of the song is You Must Burn!
You hardly ever see much mistakes (Live) because of so much adrenaline going round. Doesn't matter as to how much practice as an individual or as a band progresses. Slightest mistakes or faulty equipment can fuck up. Some mistakes can work out pretty well. But Metallica and the likes still give you 100% because they're true to themselves. Better live than some fake fuckers on stage. Happy New Year MetalliFans everywhere 🤘
from 00:00 to 100 what is the name of the song?
Yes, every once in a while mistakes can work out pretty well. It can be real cool when they do. Sometimes mistakes/fails are hilarious IMO, and not in a bad way. That's just the nature of live performances.
Metallica doesnt make mistakes. They make history.
Not snce 1991 they havent !
Is it weird that I don't really care?? 🤣 lol these guys are in their 60s playing thrash metal for us 🤘🤣🫶 we shouldn't really nitpick, they're not playing AC/DC or rolling Stones music hahaha...
Thanks so much for the video though, always entertaining 🙏🥁🔥
Not really thrash metal but I get your point
72 seasons which is their latest album is thrash metal
this legends are 60 years old of course, no matter what they are still the best
They're getting older and that is okay, that is how life works, they are legends and I am sure all fans will forgive these small mistakes
Kirk has fucked up the intro to NEM so many times now, i think it's just intentional as part of the show.
I do think that.... and think most... not all are due to hearing issues... I can see tech issues setting all that stuff up and tearing it down, and up again... its crazy how many shows they put in so far...
I think a bit of it is how treble heavy his clean tone is for the intro. It makes even the small mistakes stand out that much more.
better this than them faking everything like most bands nowadays
Love seeing this, it reminds us that they're humans like us not Gods
I like also how chilled and professional they handle these situations
6:13 Lars realizes there is no point in running lol
For the third clip I don’t think Kirk forgot the solo I think he couldn’t hear his guitar over everyone else’s instruments so he started messing up like you can see he stops to hear what part of the song they’re on since he can’t even hear what he’s playing and he goes up to the tech after holding his ears like he couldn’t hear anything! That’s also from MetLife august 4th 2023
from 00:00 to 100 what is the name of the song?
that pause between the intro track and lars coming in on lux arterna sounded kinda cool
Imagine actually paying to watch a rehearsal in a stadium
At least they aren't faking everything like other bands
Funny how Kirk still manages to mess up the Nothing Else Matters Intro even though he has played it a million times
that's the thing, maybe he is tired of playing it, i am xd
Thanks! Nice job.
It all looks kinda cool really. ❤Adds to the atmosphere.
Kirk loves Nothing else Matters 😂
The beauty of live shows. That's perfectly fine.
7:47 😅 is the best. Lars gets distracted.. forgets his part and looks at Kirk like... oh shit... my bad !
What song is it ?
11:53 The burnt ball is a metaphor for the soldier in war when he steps on the landmine
fun to watch knowing that even the pros mess up
The first one was at the Irving Texas show. It's awesome to see that even the greatest musicians can make mistakes live.
Considering how much they tour and how many consecutive shows they play in a year, that drastically increases the chance of something going wrong.
Respect❤

It's real folks.., love to see this stuff. The most challenging thing in making mistakes live, it just moving forward and let the show go on..!
That's way a preferred Metallica between other bands, more than 40th years working and making new music, not perfect but completely human.
All the phobe worshipers watching the damn concert on their phone instead of being in the moment. You don't need to record the whole show. Jesus
These guys still sound great after all these years great songs great band still dig them mess ups and all stay well everyone God Bless peace
There is no issue with this. First off, we all make mistakes… Metallica should be no exception! Also, this shows that they don’t play music in the background!
No complaints here at all. I heard human mistakes and technical issues with guitars. I fucking love it because it just tells me that they are really playing live 🤘!
I think its good to remember how old these guys are. The three that have been making mistakes are in their 60's! Its damn impressive that they are still touring as much as they do! Thats what makes them so good man.
Me encanta. Verles más humanos me hace amarles más!!!!❤❤❤
They know how to make those mistakes as a part of entertainment, and that’s a reason i love them
Yea man ❤
Love it, Masters do fail as well.
What show was the last clip from?
MetallicA 🤘❤🤘
How did I know Rob wouldn’t make one mistake before seeing this vid a true professional 😎
It's good to see even the pros mess up.
I can't tell you how many times this has happened to myself where i start playing I either miss a note or play part of a different song all together😂but I'm by no pro by any means more like a half asser lol😂
Old-school guys, playing for real, they're not like these bands from these days where everything is fake.
We want part 3 and 4 from 2023
*JAMES YOU NEED *CATER* *CATER*
These guys are so cool and amazing that no one cares if they make mistakes and everyone just goes along...it happens and honestly i think is kinda funny xD
😂 Kirk messing up nothing else matters in the second clip is from august 4th 2023 at MetLife I was there
Good thing they are sooo good they can just jam, and after 50 thousand songs i might forget too
I love how they are so untouchable that they can play with a ton of mistakes and no one cares. They're legends
proof that the boys arent fake playing and things do go wrong at Live shows from time to time..... true professionals. 🤘🤘
4:12 I was there(St.Louis) and I was recording, but I didn't even know that the guitar failed until I looked back at the video
6:12 , I was also there, laughing so hard as he never made it😂
the god that failed
seeing legendary musicians commit mistakes on stage makes me less anxious about my dream of becoming a musician myself.
Seeing how they handle their mistakes always makes me smile. And their shows are perfect including the mistakes, we are all human people we all do mistakes
Hahahahaha that part of the day make My laugh a lot
The clip at 3:47 is from St. Louis and it was not Kirk’s fault at all his purple oujia guitar was having troubles during whiplash at the start of the show as shown in the clip after and during one it cut out then came back in and after the middle solo which did not get play he had to switch guitars and he got so angry at his guitar tech.
I was there for the “You Must Burn” screwup. That was so funny. *How unprofessional.* I can only imagine how the people were reacting in the theaters
After seeing the lack of giving an f I’m glad I saw them in the early 2000. You all getting ripped off. It’s not worth the money.
1000's of shows and you're bound to zone out every once in a while.
Damn, cut them some slack, they had to learn a ton of songs for this tour!
These are just kinda funny lol. It shows that even professionals tend to mess up even after so many years of playing.
mistakes of Mortal Men been overwhelmed by their own compositions
it happens
The reason why I still go to Metallica concerts is to experience "unique moments" like these as James calls them :D
Missing Kirk falling the second night in Detroit. 😅
Doesnt matter how many mistakes they make. Theyre Metallica fans. Theyre there for the adrenaline rush not the musicality. They take short cuts and still fuck em up. Theyve been phoning it in live for years now.
They can play out of tune out of sequence and get away with it.
Thats power..
*THAT BAND COULD FORGET HALF A SONG BUT PLAY LIKE WE DIDNT MISS A THING* *CATER*
*THE BEST BAND THAT EVER HIT THE WORLD* *CATER*
Sad to see them growing old 😢
Shows even professionals, who played and rehearsed these songs hundreds to thousands of times, still mess up! That's why we lovew Metallica, they're human, and not afraid to mess up and make fun of their mess ups.
That's what happens when you are honest and real true with music and audience
Kirk has been doing the Intro of "Nothing else matters" until he can play it without any mistakes. Challenge has started on the "Wherever we may roam"-Tour 1991.....
I think Kirk edibles are a little strong
Even their mistakes are great to see. What a band.
They are all human and i love them
I like how they always just own it.
It’s also funnier that Rob never slips. Out of them all, Rob does not fuck it up.
He seems to be the one who practices the most lol
Será más fácil el bajo??
Add been to 6 Metallica concerts and I have never ever seen them mess up that bad
Cant believe these guys were my favorite band back in the day 😅
Soothing and Tranquil sounds of Pan Flute by Herschel Shlongmeir
The mistake on the first clip honestly works
I've listened the MoP/Creeping Death mash up so many times that every time I hear the intro of MoP, I'm expecting "Slaves! Hebrews born to serve! To the Pharaoh!"
Se les quedó habierta la puerta a San Pedro que se le escapó un angelito y una rosa 🌹 para el mejor maestro percutor señor Ulrich un fuerte abrazo❤
It just shows that they’re human and still having fun
Just keeps everything real.
I thought James played the intro for Nothing Else Matters.
Lars is very happy
“Now im not the one who fails”
whats the song called at 9:00?
Anyone know the 1st song?
megadeth fans watching this video: oh yes, the perfection
Feels they are going their 60s but hell, They are plaing since '81 - the year I was born. And if I am strugling just by living then they are just a masterpiece. I would love to be in their live concert any time. Never been, never had the money for that. That is just one dream to never come true.
I was born 81 as well I've seen them every time they came to Baltimore or dc since 93
Big up Lars for not being the member of Metallica with the most live performance fails anymore 😂😂
Not accidental mistakes anyway. He purposefully overplays songs that ruin it though, the man does fills every 2 bars in nothing else matters 🙈
There's nothing I love more than a good Metallica goof compilation!
You could have put in the time where James’s mic dies right when he was singing ride the lightning with
James deserves an life time achievement award for putting up with Lars for 40 years.
Fail Live . That's very funny !!! 👍🏻
Look guys... those gentlemen are in their 60's
Let's be grateful they survived up to now and enjoy whatever they can do.
I ❤ these mistakes as I myself also play the guitar and know how difficult it is. They are still one of the best. 🎉
Nothing else matters is so hard to play that even Kirk messes it up
