What bit of work are you talking about specifically? An LSD?
@@sanzthescorpion my car has a quaife LSD, bilstein B8 dampers, MSS springs, power flex inserts and M lower control arms + tension struts. I’ve since made a video on it for my other channel.

@@SidNorth legend, I always get cracks. BUT SAMBOS TYRES Saved me. Got a big trip to Scotland tomorrow in the e93 M3 and had 2 more cracks, the wheel has already been welded 3 times. SAMBOS tyres set me up with a lovely Set of rims and Saved my trip.

Advice needed. Thinking of trading in my 2018 M240i. You think these cars will hold their value in the coming years? I might want something more practical like the M135i xdrive. After a solo test drive. Although it lacks in the engine department. The handling really is out of this world compared to my M240i. I know my m240i is rear wheel drive and quoted as 'fun' and a 'driver's car'. I found in a busy city like sydney the m135i xdrive is more fun, just from the steering and grip the car has. You really move down a twisty road much faster and with much more confidence than my m240i.
No keep the B58 strong engine or get a m140i if you can in your market
its a mass produced entry level sports car? no chance it retains value
To say the n55 engine in the m135xdrive lacks is a bold statement. It’s like what 30 horsepower less than the b58 which is not enough to feel a difference. Especially when the m135i weighs about 150lbs less on average, balancing out the power to weight ratio. I also prefer the sound, character, power band, and less complex design of the n55 over the b58. Remember there would be no b58 if it wasn’t for the n55.

I have one
It's a great car as an all rounder. Very fast . But if you're looking for something that handles I hate to admit it in stock from it's doesn't give you much confidence going around fast curves/corners. It's a Shane because that's the element of driving I really enjoy. I test drove the m135i xdrive. Although not as fast the handling is I dare say twice as good as my M240i. Was a real treat
