I dunno about the "Suit of armor strong and true , make this metal bust a move!" part. I'd probably have used Levy for that, and than a swift cut to Gajeel. After all, Gajeel is the Iron Dragon Slayer, while Levy is the one character who can make him "bust a move".

(sorry for my English) I really enjoy Mashima-sensei's style of making stories, the character development and the philosophy he uses in this one. Basically the "Magic" is a metaphor for what everyone has inside, like what we are, that's why the question of "Magic is good or bad?" and he plays with that throughout the manga, and the emotions are what makes us strong and also what identifies us as humans. People think this is about the power of friendship and they always win with that power, but that couldn't be so wrong. It isn't about friendship, it isn't about winning. It's about people that has emotions and they don't know how to cope with them, like in the real world. The whole series is about human beings with weaknesses that are afraid of being alone and that's why we have friends (that's what guilds are for). Fairy Tail gives meaning to "wanting to have friends because we feel lonely", saying protect your friends because thanks to them you do not feel alone. Also, I feel the characters are very realistic. They look like they don't know what to do with their lives, they are just trying to live like real people and everything that happens to them are like opportunities to change, things that also happens to real people but they don't notice. It's like every character has a deep meaning and goes with an emotion that a lot of people can feel identified with it. Also winning is not important. The fights demonstrate emotions, what we humans are, the negative emotions face the positive ones and in each one a different teaching comes out. One of the phrases that most marked me was Gray "Do not decide everything with death. You should think about the future" (it was something like that) and it marked me because I had a depressive life where everything that happened to me wanted to solve it with death. A lot of things they said that goes along with the thing that's happening, are just metaphors to real life and that something I really like. This manga helped me to see much more that I was seeing, (not just the surface, also things I couldn't see with my eyes), to be able to feel emotions and to be able to see that humans are really interesting when it comes to emotions. This is a very interesting manga that reminds me of literature books. A lot of things that happens and also the phrases the characters says... It has a lot of deep significatives moments, and I really like how this looks like a funny story but it has a deep meaning that few people noticed (or nobody). This is a very long manga to write all the sentences they say hahaha, but you can really see how Mashima-sensei is quite deep and you can tell that he likes to read a lot. You can see many references to writers, although of course, if you do not know about writing you do not see those things reflected in Fairy Tail, or Edens Zero or Rave Master ... I mean, he's pretty smart and one of the best mangakas and writers in my opinion. He did more than three mangas and all of them are big different worlds... He's just amazing I'm sorry for this long comment hahaha. In conclusion, I think it's a good motivational story for you to use your emotions in a good way.
