Oh my God, I heard this song on the "Halfbreed" album way back in 1975 I think. It's so good to see Miller still playing just as good as ever. To me the "blues triumvirate" of the 60s were Miller, Keith Simmonds (Savoy Brown) and Stan Webb (Chickenshack). I still treasure the album they did together.
Top of Blues Rock ....musicians like these never get tired or old, fantastic!
Soooooooo good to hear this , thanks for posting . Still got the album ………on cd 🙁lost the vinyl many years ago.
Halfbreed is my favourite keef Hartley album , miller makes it burn both ends 💜
Totally brilliant
how good is this
Hell yea. 2008 and still rocking like the 60's, what I like to see.
Undoubtedly one of the finest, and sadly, most under-rated guitarists, in the world! I always rated him as one of the true blues/rock guitar heroes - what a pleasure to see this footage. Thank a million - a real treat!
wonderful!
That is KILLER
thx Thierry ! was für ein Sound ... oh mann richtig geil .... fantastic Blues Rock
yeah man go
oh hellzyeah!
Good video, audio, band.
nice to see this and glad that miller is still out there. One of my favourite albums of all time. This is a kinda lukewarm version though, the original is such a heavy number. wish these older guys would play with the fire they once had (sabbath not included, theyve still got it!) - still, nothing can be as bad as deep purples bossa nova version of smoke on the water
“Lukewarm”? Friend, I don’t know what kind of live performance YOU were expecting, some 40 years after the studio recording, but this was top notch…very faithful to the original. Possibly even more “fire” than was mustered in studio. Amazing performance.
I listened to the ‘original’ in my car today, it’s got a fantastic twin guitar solo, both playing a different tune but somehow seems just right.
Think Keef retired years ago to set up loinery and furniture making business back home in Preston. He has published an autobiography recently though. cheers
Awesome guitar man
Leslie West
f yeah! leave your seats and shake your junk...
Sorry that's Kim Simmonds.
Is that Keef Hartley on the drums? If so, it's good to see he is still playing.
Wasn't it Spit James who did all the stuff on Halfbreed?
Taj Mahal...
I want to remove my comment about the bass player , as I was a twat and wrote up the wrong video,,,sorry
I've deleted your comment
