I just realized that Johnny’s rhythmic snorting sounds completely different from the way your other horses snort when they go cross-country. He has a signature snort!
I love how he just *goes* like a train but really listens to you and responds when you say, "Steady..." Then, when you're done and pull him up he's totally okay to walk quietly back to the trailer. I just love watching your videos. SO much good here all around! Thank you!

I know it shocks me every time I see his age! He really loves his job if he can still go happily, and her training and feeding program must be really great.
What kind of saddle do you use for cross country? Also this was amazing to watch. Do you own any of the horses you ride cross country?

What horses would anyone recommend for a 10 year old and 12 year old? Since I am going to be getting a horse for Christmas , I might be getting a Connemara (idk how to spell it.) if you have any suggestions it would really help! ❤️🍞
Don't worry about the breed. Just get your trainer involved to find a horse suitable for you.
