    A new level by Zka, taking place in a Caverns-like setting. Scientists are as dumb as the ones at the original Caverns, at least.
    This is being played through with an emulator and a 60FPS patch, mouse & keyboard controls and with increased FOV.

    For some reason, it seems like the audio is heavily compressed - specially noticeable with the PP7 shots and timed mine beeps.
    I'm sorry about this, it'll be fixed for the next video.

    Wow! Great custom level. I feel like the Caverns assets are underutilized in custom missions. Great to see them used so well here in an original layout.

    Playing this with mouse and keyboard makes it look faster and easier than traditional controller

      That's because, to compensate for the player's much slower reaction time on the N64 controller, the developers slowed down enemy reactions and movements. The N64 enemy AI doesn't stand a chance against the dexterity of a mouse - the guards are all easily picked off.

    Lots of sound effects borrowed from this game by other games. Ie the sirens in the download room are in Tinesplitters. 2. And one of the dying sounds from the guards is used in Monkey Hero.

      The developers who made Goldeneye developed Timesplitters as well. You will find that many games and other media use the same sound effects as each other, this is because many developers use stock sound effect libraries and mess around with them. :)

    You have the power to make your own custom levels, and you make that? Reminds me of Super Mario Maker, and how there are so many bad level designs. Like what is this? Meandering long paths with nothing interesting happening in them, copied assets, enemy spam, unimaginative missions, and no boss fight?
    Let's start with the good. The area at the very tail end was interesting, because it was different. Even though the room layout didn't make sense. And that's about it.
    Things to improve on: Map out a living breathing world, does it make sense where things are. The games missions were essentially based off areas from the movie. And each mission nails what it's trying to capture. I have no idea what's going on here. Long underground tunnels with random computer terminals, that lead to centralized area, where you hold a point for a while, then leave via elevator.
    Here's how to make this level more interesting. Start with Bond coming out of a elevator in the main centralized area. he's on the top floor looking down through a glass window where our villain is. Villain say's, you're too late Bond, the place is in full lock down. I've won! To the East, West, and North are paths that branch out into a cave tunnel system. Each leading to a computer terminal that is locking the main door leading to our villain. Bond has to venture to each wing and destroy each computer to open all three locks. Design each wing a little different, and have the terminals needed to be destroyed in different ways. Once done he has access to return to the main area, and the door that was once locked down, is now able to be open. once opened you now can fight the main Villain. Then leave on the elevator.
    I'm sorry for being forward, it's just you have talent to make custom levels. That's awesome. It's just sad seeing so many custom maps kinda being the same. None are really breaking the mold in terms of creativity. Keep on designing and working. This is still beyond cool, and amazing! You made something 99.99% of can't. You have the building blocks down. Now it's time to stretch your creative side. :)

    Someone should make levels like this for example Control Caverns then Lair but bundle it into the actual game menu as if these came after. Statue then Garden. Get what I mean? The original level then the extended version so you play Caverns first and then this one then move on to Cradle. Then you do it on stream and call it Goldeneye extended edition also do Complex level after Aztec and Temple after Egypt Good idea or nah. This is hypothetical and just an idea.
