I have lived here in Tomball for 25 plus years. I worked for a home design firm in the Woodlands for 23 years and it was just a 25 minute drive before the new grand parkway went in. I now have my own firm headquartered in Tomball.

I’m currently living in an apartment with my
family in McKinney. We just bought a house in Tomball. The same layout that we fell in love with up here in the north Dallas area was about 80k cheaper in Houston. It’ll be about 6-7 months until our house gets built. We are excited and nervous because we just love the North Dallas area so much but the houses are just too expensive for us right now. We would rather buy a house out in Houston and let our money grow and sell potential sell later if we decide to move back up to the north Dallas area (McKinney, Frisco, Allen).

I moved from cypress to tomball 7 years ago, much less flooding and traffic. Great schools and friendly people. Whatever you do, do not move to Houston, it’s close to Tomball and Cypress but not a nice or safe place to live.
