The land was purchased in 2017, 1.21 acres, and sold at $74,900.00
I will not include this price into the price of the house since the objective was to showcase the home itself and not the land. This is a video showcasing what the builder can build if you already own your land, or plan on building on land you anticipate to purchase.
Land is extremely variable, depending on size, location, and amenities, it can be as affordable as $10k to as much as $100k+!
So you can think of it like this, $280k + the value of land you want to purchase. It will be up to you to determine how much further out you are willing to stretch your budget when it comes to the land. Ideally, a nice sized lot/land is $40k+, I’d start there.

We build houses in New England of this caliber and they currently go for 1.3M., 280k for this home really caught my eye, with the price of lumber alone will set you back 600k here in New England. Beautiful home, crown molding would be the cherry on top.

Wow! $80 per sqft. That's cheap! Here in San Antonio, I was able to help my clients to build custom last year, and we got an excellent deal for $170 per sqft. This year it’s $250 per sqft! Great Video 👏

I don't have $280k, but I'm amazed this house is listed at that price. It is like a blank canvas one can finish with thier own creativeness. I love this home, I would make a few minor changes; 1. Remove the bench, and vanity beside the shower in the master bath and put a free standing tub in its place. I wonder if the builder can build in Arizona? I have the land, and a very small home now, but enough room for a house this size. Sigh..... one day. Also, great camera work showing these homes. Show us more homes under 300k, thanks again.
This home is like villa, where I live it would be $700k and in other places it would be $2.5million. It is so inexpensive in Texas.

Isaiah what are property taxes in Texas, because here in California we have prop 13 which limits the amount property taxes can be raised yearly (2 percent) I was stationed at Ft Hood in the late 70’s and I went to McKinney 2 in a row 2004 and 2005 my son was playing travel baseball, I drove from California to Texas both times, I know there’s no state taxes and it’s other taxes that pay for the roads, schools and etc.
It's an amazing home. Crown molding would be a superb finishing touch to some of the rooms. This would be over a million dollars in my part of the country.

I'm loving this home. This house has to be on the outter parts of Dallas or Houston. Homes are very cheaper to build in those areas due to location. Anyone living in those areas would have to travel back into the cities for work.I love the lot. I'm sure with this size of a home it would be very impossible to build it on a small single lot. A person would need at least a 1/2 Acres double lot .

Not noticing replies to lot cost. I’ve been looking at properties in De Soto in the $400,000 range. This place is comparable in living space. I love it when the outdoor space is just as beautiful or better. The realtor never showcased that in this video
Hello! The lot price was not disclosed to me, as it was a separate purchase from the client! But on average, you may be looking at lots for $40k+ to at least be large enough to build on. Depending on the area, you may end scoring a deal! I saw a few months ago about half acre lots selling for $60-90k in north edinburg. For the most part, in a nicer part of the city, on average you may be looking at $10/Sq. Ft. for the lot!

For this home, the land was already purchased by the buyer, and they just paid for the home's construction! $40k+ on most residential lots. In the city, you may be looking at $10+/Sq. Ft. for land, while outskirt will be much more affordable.

In a custom home, you have the full autonomy to add a bedroom!
In your instance, you could have a maiden’s quarter’s perfect for guests anterior to the home. You would have a middle courtyard and it would be beautiful! But of course, in a custom build, you may design it in your own way!
