06:41 No. It's scary out there So glad to see our little feathered friend looking much livelier at release, and not the glassy-eyed exhaustion that the poor critter had when he was rescued. Another excellent effort, team. Bravo!
Fantastic save guys. I used to go course fishing & never left rubbish behind & would often clear up others mess on more than one occasion. Serious anglers respect all wildlife. Looking good Simon xxx
Yes I know of no other group who respect wildlife more than fishermen. I once scared off a heron who was eating ducklings right in front of where I was fishing. Literally swallowing them whole right in front of the mother duck. It was awful. It got two out of the five before I was able to scare it off with a twig.
Young frail and old frail, who's gonna win? And stubborn? Nobody stubborn here! Lol. Love the banter. Makes me feel part of the team. Thanks for saving ducky. I hate fishing stuff almost as much as I hate netting.
Simon is quite the prankster, huh? I'm sure Lawrie gives as good as he gets though, just not necessarily when the cameras are rolling… 🤪 A HUGE thank you to everyone involved in getting this gorgeous young 'quack' back out on the water - you're all absolute stars 💜xXx
Yay, another great Simon & Lawrie rescue bites the dust! Thanks guys & no thanks at all to irresponsible fisherfolk leaving their very dangerous kit behind. Good to see Simon still heaping praise on Lawrie's head! 🎃
Lawrie: "I'm young and frail!" 😂 Lawrie who you think you're fooling? Great job guys 👍👍🙏🏻❤❤ Loved the stoic look of the duck in the car. So happy he recovered quickly.
we have the same problem in Germany, that Fishermen don´t take their trash and lines out of the water and the waterbirds get entangled in the lines and hooks !! Thank u so much for saving this cute Duck !! 😊🦆
Oh no poor quackers glad he recovered well,I just wish that people would tidy up after themselves,it doesn't take much to put it into a carrier bag and take it home. Love Nicola xx
This is why I always go back and get any fishing line, hooks, bobbers, and lures that pop off of my reel. We have many species of ducks along with Canadian geese, cormorants, loons, herons, and cranes that hang out where I fish. I don't want them to get injured like that poor mallard.
Aww that’s definitely not a good start for a young duck but I’m so happy to see it go free after rescue, treatment and rest . Much love to all involved and a big hug for Simon ❤
Big thanks again to Wildlife Aid ,which is needed more than ever. Brings me an inner peace watching these rescues, inspiring to see Simon pushing through considering his health diagnosis - he's looking well & in good spirits! Also love that little electric boat & that Lawrie has a speedboat license - pretty cool!
Great job guys! If I may suggest, please speak to who's in charge of that park and see if a camera could be installed to monitor the fisherman so those who are irresponsible pay a fine of some sort. Thanks!
😞 poor duck, with that hook sticking out of his neck, I thought it had damaged his windpipe, luckily it hadn't. Lovely to see him nip out quite quickly out of the carrier and back on the water. Another 💪 awesome job and video guy's thanks 💖😁
I love seeing water birds released. Once they're away from the rescuer, they wag their tail feathers and have a drink. This is standard procedure, apparently 😊
Thanks Wildlife Aid team 👍 It's a wonder that anyone walking by would just look at the duck and see it was in danger, unless it was flapping around obviously stuck.
People need to be more mindful of where their books go and take them back home ...... The poor animals pay the price 💗💗💗Thank you all for your loving hearts and God Bless You
I wonder if anyone watching this suddenly realized that it was their fishing line you pulled up. Thanks for helping the duck. ❤️... Thanks to the Vets also. ❤️
I’ve seen many swans/ducks with finishing line and hooks though the beek and all that. I’ve made so many reports and I love to save animals. I saved a pigeon once what was in the water and was soaking wet though. After a day he now comes back everyday to my house.
Watched a young boy fishing in Caerphilly he caught a goose and just cut the line leaving the goose with twenty foot of line still attached, luckily I managed to catch hold of the line and the goose was wound in but the hook came free and it may of had a sore bill but it was safe. well done guys not stubborn though Simon just caring, Go Lawrie.
I like the new, improved video production. Looks much better quality all round and looking really slick. (not there was anything wrong with them before of course)
Outstanding. You gentlemen travel very well equipped. An inflatable boat. You are saints for doing this wonderful service for our animal friends. Live long and prosper.
The duck this entire time thinking, “Humans are so weird. A week ago they shoot my cousin dead, now they take me from the pond, give me a spa treatment, and bring me back. What the actual duck?”
to be fair to most amateur fishermen . Most of the time that you lose your line, it is due to the fish snapping it or the wind carrying it into some branch where you can't find it
Hi guys. It’s amazing how people see and report these birds. I’m thinking about the ones they don’t find. A short time ago we had migrating Canada geese getting ready to go south . And one of them hit a power line . Was killed instantly . Greetings from Canada 👍🇨🇦🦆🦉 🦢🦝🐿🦔
Thanks!
That's great, Terri !
So many ignore the ducks. Thank you for saving him.
Thanks a lot. All wildlife matters here!
I love animals 🦊🦆🐔🐸🐯🐶🐱🦌🦚🦡🐿🐉💙 mostly ducks
Thanks for saving daddy duck. Xxx
Great rescue! Thanks! 🥰
Thank you so much for the kind support! We really appreciate it!

Glad to hear it , I go along riverbank clearing up line hooks etc 🙂👍

@Lupi the Yorkie It wasn’t so far out nor so deep that they couldn’t have gone after it.
Lawrie: "I'm young and frail!" 😂 Lawrie who you think you're fooling?

Thank you! Sadly, litter causes so many problems for wildlife! :(

The duck's flight of freedom was the most enchanting one, WAF is doing great work, compliments!
Thanks for helping Daffy!! He flew out full speed ahead!! 🦆🦆🦆
Glad to see the duck is free and safe 🥰
Thank you, so are we!
Aww that’s definitely not a good start for a young duck but I’m so happy to see it go free after rescue, treatment and rest . Much love to all involved and a big hug for Simon ❤

Great commentary by Simon and his interaction with Lawrie is so funny, Wildlife's very own Ant and Dec
Was thinking more (Not) Fat Albert & Will Hay.
😂😂😂😂😂!

@Janus An excellent idea ..
I so love to seem them make for their freedom! Thankyou Team, each and every one of you! XXX
A very calm duck who didn't seem to mind people poking and prodding. Amazing!
The duck seems so calm as if he knows he is being helped

c'est surprenant comme il se laisse completement soigner sans broncher !
Hello from Illinois. I always look forward to your videos. Sending prayers Simon. God Bless you and all the wonderful staff ✌️
I've never seen a duck look so sad. Thank you for yet another amazing save! 💚
Prayers for Simon and the rescuers. Great job guys
Bless you all ,for your team work ,helping wildlife,!
Poor duck. Bless him. Good job ❤
Thanks so much :)
He was such a good patient!!
"if you gonna do it, at least do it properly"
Thanks a lot! :)
Poor little Quacks. Thank you, Simon and Butt of All Jokes, Lawrie
Wonderful job as always! So glad Quakers is back home. Just wish we had the same sympathy for a fish on a hook as we do for other animals.
Thank you on behalf of the duck! 😃🤗
Haha thank you!
Thanks Wildlife Aid team 👍
It's a wonder that anyone walking by would just look at the duck and see it was in danger, unless it was flapping around obviously stuck.
Another outstanding job. Even the little creatures on earth need our help from time to time.
Thank you so much :)
People need to be more mindful of where their books go and take them back home ...... The poor animals pay the price 💗💗💗Thank you all for your loving hearts and God Bless You
Thanks so much. Sadly, this is something we see all the time :(
What a well-behaved duck. He was probably worn out but seemed to enjoy the car ride! Thank you for rescuing him and the vets did an excellent job too.
@Georgia275: Are we *sure* the duck is male? It looks like a female mallard to me.
Talley-ho from across the pond. Love seeing my guys in action! Thank you, for all you do!!
I wonder if anyone watching this suddenly realized that it was their fishing line you pulled up. Thanks for helping the duck. ❤️... Thanks to the Vets also. ❤️
Nice work guys and hi to the new locum vet Tom too :) x
Thank you for all you do. 💚💚💚💚.
He seemed very content being handled & appeared to work out pretty quickly you were there to help.
Amazing job 👏 🙌 👌 👍 ❤
Great rescue
Thanks so much :)
Another life saved thanks for all your hard work.
Simon is such an incredible man
Oooh the poor sweetheart!! Thank you Wildlife Aid!!

I saved a pigeon once what was in the water and was soaking wet though. After a day he now comes back everyday to my house.
It is indeed scary out there. I looooove the fact that only the birds' thoughts end up as momentary captions in the videos 🙂
Excellent job as always from you guys. It's great to see Simon still being himself...I bet being stubborn helps Lawrie with Simon ;)
I love Ducks so happy you helped him . Thank you !
"Quackers" always get me giggling.
3:33 That duck looks like he's seen some traumatizing things.
Well done!!! 😊
Many thanks dear Simon and Lawrie 🙋♀️❤️
Poor thing…great job on a vital rescue.
God bless you people! 🥰❤️
Well done gentlemen on your great work. 👍
It is such a pleasure to see Simon doing well (I hope). Nice video guys. Thank you.
Poor little quackers! Good to see a wonderful release, it made my day!
Oh, Simon trying to pull a fast one on Lawrey. That’s one very happy duck.
Good work, lovely duck.
I cried tears when it said "Lawrie. The butt of all jokes"😂😂❤
Haven’t been watching videos lately but glad I’m back.
Ahahahaha that lovely hop-jump to freedom just made my day :)
great work guys and a lovely day to you all too.
Excellent!
Wonderful!
Amazing!
What a Blessing y'all are.
👍💯👍
Thank you so much!
If the duck can't afford to pay for its treatment, just put it on its BILL. I quack myself up.
That's so bad 😄
We were waiting for the dad jokes to start!
@@wildlifeaid 😄someone has to do it.
OMG poor little thing 💕😔
MANY THANKS!!!

Thank you greatly for the work you all do. ❤
Thanks so much :)

(not there was anything wrong with them before of course)
I have seen too many ducks all tangled up in fishing line, it's horrible every time. good work lads.
Hola Simón! Te había extrañado, dónde estabas?
Me gusta el trabajo, que haces junto a tu equipo.Felicitaciones!!!
Such a lovely story
to be fair to most amateur fishermen . Most of the time that you lose your line, it is due to the fish snapping it or the wind carrying it into some branch where you can't find it
I love how you troll each other at the start. Kindhearted wholesome fooling with friends. Absolutely precious.
Love the little tail feather wag!
Simon and Lawrie; two kind, gentle, compassionate and seriously smart guys. Prime examples of how real men should be. Your rescue posts make my day.
Good Rescue 👍👍 Gob bless you team WAF 🧡🧡
Thanks so much :)
Beautiful duck!
Brilliant!
Now that’s a lucky duck!
he was scared, funny the way he looked at you, like ''who are you guys?'' haha
Hopefully he feels a lot better now he's free!
It's like watching Lawrie and Hardy. x

we hit the button before seeing the vid
Thank you! We really appreciate that!
Well done Team again
Good job recovering the quacker! Is there any update on Simon? How is he doing?
As always go team WAF 🌷The shot of the duck in the car was so sweet. Nice to see that Simon is out and about :) Thanks for the smiles :)
