I have seen visual snow for as long as I can remember. I have often mistaken it for light rain outside or snow depending on the season. I also have palinopsia with trailing effect. Aside from those 'abnormal' visual issues, I suffer from migraines w/aura. I hear music or voices that sound like a radio station playing that is out of tune, when their are floor fans running nearby. I have never tried psychedelic drugs in my life. I understand that those sounds are just our brain/memory's attempt at connecting new auditory input with sounds that are already in our memory. I also have synaesthesia (not color-grapheme).
I never knew until adulthood that my experiencing was not 'typical'.
I am diagnosed with ocd and have struggled with it since childhood.
My birthmother drank alcohol, used amphetamines and smoked marijuana during her pregnancy with me in the early 70's. (corroboration from birthmother as well as her/our cps records from prior to adoption) Neuropsychologists said I fit criteria for fasd in their cognitive & intellectual 8 hour testing results even though I had mixed results with above average IQ. I have never complained to anyone about the visual snow all of these years. The palinopsia I didn't really complain about but did mention it very briefly once to the eye doctor-didn't want to make an issue over something that isn't a big deal, mostly just bizarre. I have severe astigmatism in my left eye, near sighted, farsighted & horrible night glare on roads as well as photophobia. I also haven't ever mentioned the weird noises/radio-like voices & music from the fans. I am highly sensitive to sounds & sound waves.
    I do not have schizophrenia-guaranteed.
My brain's cells & wires got fried during in utero development.
My question is, do I have a Sensory Processing Disorder causing my life history of the multitude of sensory oddities & issues which came from the neurological damage done by the fetal alcohol(& amphetamines) exposure?
Thought it wouldn't hurt to ask for an anonymous scientific opinion. 😏
Great work educating & advocating on this channel-Thanks
