I am still surprised to see the cellphone antenna is still on the this car today, so they left in because it put hole in the glass so they left it in that way. If the inside controls of the doors panels do not work the way they use to, is because the inside vaper barriers in doors have gone away and when they dry out they will work as they use to be. Yes she needs little work to day, but she is still a very nice 99 SS Camaro of the day. So at this price don't let her get away.

Nick, a good tip for when the door controls don't work is to open the door and wiggle the wiring from the door to the frame. Do it on both side and that usually makes the controls work.

Yours looks like its in the switch but reminded me of the finicky windows on my red 99 v6 Camaro. Id have to wiggle the silver fuse thing and they would work fine for a few weeks at a time.

Its beautiful looking! Just a few things here and there, but that is the fun having it, buying parts and spending time tinkering to make it perfect.
The buttons on the window panel probably got wet ,spray with electrical cleaner and work them up and down ,if no help replace buttons, my 02 trans am did the same thing ,work fine now .
10k for a v6 monte or 12k for a sick ass LS1 Camaro..... wasn't uncommon back in the day to get these into the 12's with just bolt ons.
I just got my 2002 back from getting painted. It had 89,000 on it when I got it. Now just rolled 100,000.
That engine light can be something as easy as a gas cap issue. Those new cars have so many sensors that trip that service engine light are ridiculous. Some even come on when its time to change your oil. That car run perfect, doesn't smoke or vibrate in any way, that service light is probably something stupid.

Unfortunately that is not a real SS. It's a Z28 with a SS hood and wing hence the reason the paint doesn't match. Plus the intake is a stock Z28 intake, not a SS (SLP) intake.
No this is for sure real SS model, hood was repainted due to clear coat coming up. Vin says it all
@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate the VIN doesn't tell you if it's a SS. It only tells you if it's a Z28. There are however a couple of ways to know for sure. You could call SLP and give them the VIN and they can look it up in their records to see if they ever touched the car. An easier and faster way would be to check the RPO code label. WU8 indicates a true SS. Another thing to check is the tire pressure label on the door jamb. If it says 245/50R16 then it's a Z28, if it's 275/40R17 then it's an SS. I'm sure you know all this though so I'm probably preaching to the choir but others may not. Overall though it doesn't really matter as there was such minor little differences between the two but some people seem to care more than others.

The 90s were a pretty horrible time for exterior styling of cars. Everything had that rounded look with no sharp edges. Didn't matter if it was a Cavalier or a Corvette.
