Dave Bautista and Rupert Grint are two names absolutely NO ONE would’ve predicted even being within the same universe of people I’d see in a movie together… and yet I must witness what it’s like
Bautista and Cena (to my knowledge) actually cares more about the quality and the acting they'll produce in the films they're in, unlike Dwayne Johnson who makes films all to keep a sort of brand in his films and himself as an actor. He's left the wrestling scene for a long time now, but he's working like he's still in it.

But once he joined the fast & furious movies, he started getting type casted as the save the world big hulking unkillable superman type character. I think he gets off to the fact that he's making money while believing himself to be a prime example of what it takes to be a good person and all that. Dave Batista career is definitely taking off. He is playing many different characters now and not the typical action star that he could have done. I see him going even further with his acting.

Johnson was a pro wrestler, and Bautista fought in MMA... Might was well compare Bautista's career to Channing Tatum's because the latter used to be an exotic dancer.
I actually thought about this the other day. I always used to think people were being overly critical because I really liked his movies that are good. But, then I did a tally of the ones I actually liked versus the ones that clearly sucked... and yeah, there are more misses than hits. I've found he's decent when it comes to contained ideas with small casts, but things get away from him when its global stuff.
This movie has a good chance of being good. The trailer for Old was stupid and so was the actual movie. But since the trailer for this is good, there’s a good chance this will succeed.
Couldn't agree more....the premise is always amazing, and then the resolution is always a train wreck. It's almost more satisfying to just watch his trailers, and then not see the movie...

The fact that Rupert Grint is in this tells me this must be a good film/ story. He hasn't acted in a film like this in a very long time since really Harry Potter at least to what I've seen. I'm very excited to see how this goes.

After she decides the four intruders reveal that they are hired actors; the dads hired them to find out which of them is the favorite dad. All of them leave unharmed, the end.
I'm actually really excited to see this movie! Just the trailer with both Rupert Grint and Dave Bautista makes it look so much more interesting. Hopefully, this is a return-to-form for M. Night Shyamalan!

say what you want about M Night, but you can't deny that even if later the movie turns out to be doo doo, he's really good at making the trailer so intriguing and good. it's enticing enough to capture your attention without revealing too much.
Not everybody has ADD. I watch a bunch of trailers to know their is always a happy tone that last only for a couple of seconds, and I knew it was a thriller before I watched the video. If you seriously thought it was a real comedy because those couple of seconds was enough for you to decide then you have ADD. I'm not saying it's bad to have ADD but don't assume everybody has ADD.
He has mastered the ability to move so incredibly slow... that it is imperceptible to the human eye. And now, he has joined forces with a legendary wizard who wielded the sword of Godric Griffindor. Apocalypse? Sounds like dessert on a Sunday afternoon🍧
Im intrigued by the actors, they look like they are really feeling their roles! Robert Grant, he's great ! It kinda looks like a season of American Horror Stories, which I don't hate that it does, cause I pretty much loved every season.
M. Night's last movie he directed called Old was also based on a book, but he changed the ending from the book, and he might do the same to the original source material for this movie.

There are so many scores I like and they are mainly by the major composers - Goldsmith, Barry, Morricone, Shore, Williams, Zimmer, etc. I like a lot of orchestral horror scores - The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Evil Dead 2013, Under the Skin, The Witch (see videos on the Apprehension Engine for something new), Bram Stoker's Dracula, Hannibal, It, etc. I like Star Trek soundtracks by various and other sci-fi scores. I mentioned Hollywood In Vienna because that series is great for both their choices and their mastery of the original scores without trying to make them sound different. Most recent beautiful score is for the film Blonde.

@@anisolo07 You are very welcome. Yes, many horror scores are truly wonderful if you can find ones that transcend the genre. It's a matter of taste of course but it's the same with some super hero or fantasy scores - Zimmer's Batman, Superman, etc., are exciting and take music in new directions. The recent Catwoman theme in The Batman has a gorgeous John Barry feel to it. Speaking of Star Trek - I like the First Contact score a lot. And then there are films that blend classical music with original music that are so good - Shine, Hilary and Jackie, etc.
As a Shamalan fan I’m already on board but this looks to have the makings of something extra special. Curious to see how the other three of the 4 horsemen of cabin apocalypse play out.
When I watch Cena on film I think he’s a really good about 80% of the time, but sometimes he just doesn’t feel “natural”. I think the Dewayne Johnson is even better than Cena, but still it doesn’t feel like his first career. Dave Bautista feels really natural, if I didn’t know he wasn’t an actor first I wouldn’t know any better. Kudos to him.

M. Night is always a hit or miss and for me personally I’ve most often enjoyed his stuff…Signs and the Devil are my favorites. Haven’t seen Old yet because I’ve been busy but it has been on my list. I love Batista and I’m curious to see Rupert and what he can bring to the table other than Ron Weasley. I’m excited to give this a shot ✊🏼

Not everybody has ADD. I watch a bunch of trailers to know their is always a happy tone that last only for a couple of seconds, and I knew it was a thriller before I watched the video. If you seriously thought it was a real comedy because those couple of seconds was enough for you to decide then you have ADD. I'm not saying it's bad to have ADD but don't assume everybody has ADD.

Im intrigued by the actors, they look like they are really feeling their roles! Robert Grant, he's great ! It kinda looks like a season of American Horror Stories, which I don't hate that it does, cause I pretty much loved every season.

The cabin at the end of the world by Paul Tremblay is the book this is based on. Decent book.
M. Night's last movie he directed called Old was also based on a book, but he changed the ending from the book, and he might do the same to the original source material for this movie.

@@anisolo07 I like Braveheart too. I think I like Cold Mountain better than O Brother. There are so many scores I like and they are mainly by the major composers - Goldsmith, Barry, Morricone, Shore, Williams, Zimmer, etc. I like a lot of orchestral horror scores - The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Evil Dead 2013, Under the Skin, The Witch (see videos on the Apprehension Engine for something new), Bram Stoker's Dracula, Hannibal, It, etc. I like Star Trek soundtracks by various and other sci-fi scores. I mentioned Hollywood In Vienna because that series is great for both their choices and their mastery of the original scores without trying to make them sound different. Most recent beautiful score is for the film Blonde.

I find the new generation Star Trek soundtracks to be inspiring. As it is, the Theme is beautifully uplifting and the movies itself are a great study in leadership. Thank You for all your recommendations. Simply love it!
@@anisolo07 You are very welcome. Yes, many horror scores are truly wonderful if you can find ones that transcend the genre. It's a matter of taste of course but it's the same with some super hero or fantasy scores - Zimmer's Batman, Superman, etc., are exciting and take music in new directions. The recent Catwoman theme in The Batman has a gorgeous John Barry feel to it. Speaking of Star Trek - I like the First Contact score a lot. And then there are films that blend classical music with original music that are so good - Shine, Hilary and Jackie, etc.
The suspense, I can’t wait to watch this movie.
The twist could be that this m. night movie is good. We'll have to wait and see.

When I watch Cena on film I think he’s a really good about 80% of the time, but sometimes he just doesn’t feel “natural”. I think the Dewayne Johnson is even better than Cena, but still it doesn’t feel like his first career. Dave Bautista feels really natural, if I didn’t know he wasn’t an actor first I wouldn’t know any better. Kudos to him.

M. Night is always a hit or miss and for me personally I’ve most often enjoyed his stuff…Signs and the Devil are my favorites. Haven’t seen Old yet because I’ve been busy but it has been on my list. I love Batista and I’m curious to see Rupert and what he can bring to the table other than Ron Weasley. I’m excited to give this a shot ✊🏼
