Ha ha, it can be interpreted that way, but really, I'm sure you know, it is an attack on the film critics who give negative reviews to movies based upon their preconceived notions. For example, Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey" received critic reviews such as it being slow, confusing, and pretentious etc. However, now it is universally considered by film critics as one of the greatest films ever made. It won't be a surprise that many current film critics will watch this movie and trash it only for it to be universally praised by future film critics. Not all film critics are equal, many have rigid views of what makes a film good and are uncreative themselves . Then again, maybe this movie will be considered trash by everyone for all time.
I thought it was AI for a minute, lol. It really doesn't show much, it uses excessive, yet somehow nondescript dialogue, and it seems so amateurish. Also, there's a lag, making it feel like the camera man is a shaky middle schooler. lol lol

They actually do use the same stuff - it’s basically stock sound effects, trailer music, epic choir, etc. Seperate people (other than the filmmakers) create the trailers. They’re given a summary of the movie, clips and dialogue tracks. The rest they have to come up with on their own.

The marketing guy was trying to begin this with statements from critics in the past that wrongfully criticized Coppola’s films yet ended up being successes and/or Academy Award winners. Proving those critics wrong. So now here is another one they can be wrong with!
