A Season Downunda (Back In A Snowcat)

A ski season in Australia?
Due to the many requests for more videos of snowcat work I decided to take a break from my regular civil construction job, drive the width of Australia and take on another job in a ski resort. So here we are, back for another winter of snowcat content for you fine people.

It’s interesting hearing about the differences in operation of different ski hills. Mine is more in the “if you know what you”re doing, off you go. Don break the cat, dont leave holes, dont burn too much fuel” category. My “training” was here’s the buttons and what they do, now go get a feel for it and my boss left me alone. I liked it, as it let me get a feel for the cat on my own rather than being micromanaged. Unfortunately the canadian ski season is long gone, but i’ll be doing the next best thing, farming!
