The realization that jade and Tabita having been trying and failing to save their daughter for centuries makes this show even more tragic and depressing than it already was
I think there is another person like that guy in yellow and there fighting over supremacy of that place and there the ones that get in their head and they control the monsters. I wouldn't be surprised if that boy Victor sees is someone else and he's in war with the man in yellow and there both evil but wil convince the group that one of them is right.

Julie time travels back to the sacrifice and is the one who gives the children "hope", which explains why the person who gave them "hope" didn't instead just rescue them.
She plans to do that but hasn't mastered the skill yet. It seems very random and Ethan somehow knows something saying you can't change anything but can only watch. But yeah if she has time travel powers you can bring everyone back.

lol I don’t think it works like that more like a spiritual thing. Reincarnation means your spirit is recycled not necessarily that actual person. She is her own person but her spirit is the same one that’s was in victors mom other wise her and jade would have been together again in marriage.
Ep 10 was so good I had almost forgot about the 5 weeks of filler, until I checked for renew news a day or two before the season final and saw 2026. Like foreal man 😂😂. All of that filler meant nothing, we getting GTA 6 before season 4 of FROM. That's crazy 💀💀
I don't think y'all know what an actual "Filler" episode is. Go watch the LOST episode EXPOSE...that is an actual Filler episode. True "filler" episodes do nothing to push the narrative arc or characters forward, may not have anything to do with any of the main or side characters, and even the setting may be different. Each of the eps in FROM pushed the story forward, developed character, gave answers to small questions and even some big questions. Each episode had at least 3-4 scenes that, if missed, would make you ask questions to understand the current situation. The other scenes are more for character, theme, and setting development and are the main reason why people get connected to a show. Also the 2026 release date thing is not official and came from an article speculating on when S4 may come out. 2026 is only 13.5 months away and there were 15 months between the end of S2 and start of S3 as well as a 6 month writers and actors strikes.. Hell S3 didn't even start filming till February 2024 and was released 7 months later. If they could do S3 that fast they can do it again with S4
Basically, everyone who comes into this town is somehow connected to their past lives over and over again. That’s why they keep seeing the tree die and come back infinitely. I’m assuming the only way to break the cycle is to kill the man in yellow. He probably sacrificed his son, the boy in white, for immortality and convinced everyone else to do the same. Instead of becoming immortal, he took all the powers for himself. They might reveal that Elgin is a soldier because the same events keep repeating, like the eye incident being spoken of. Whatever they do, the same fate ends up happening to them. I’ve seen this concept before in Dark. I remember one character appearing in four separate timelines, and in each, he was missing either a leg or a hand. Freeing the children won’t help, but destroying the main source will.

Exactly it could be there's a lot of dead souls jumping from one host to another and repeating the cycle. They seem to be forever trapped in a time loop. So next season they have to figure out how to break that cycle and Julie may be the key with her time travel powers.
I have a theory about the tree that brings everyone to the town, what if the tree is a faraway tree that was previously cut down by someone, and just by getting close to it, the tree takes them to the town, and because it got cut down it only works as a one way tree, and the reason why the boy in white stopped victor is because if he cuts that tree down there’s no way out
No we knew it was another show and it looks good. So some mystery viral outbreak maybe zombie show sounds like a great way to bridge the gap until we get season 4. MGM is definitely spending their money wisely.
I have a theory too. - The monsters don't attack people who belong to the city. Only others. For example, people who have visions, hear voices or cicadas are not killed. I know that the monsters didn't kill Handall and Boyd when they could so they could break Boyd... so he would feel guilty. However, even when Boyd kills Smile, no one attacks him. I don't remember anyone with this connection to the city being killed by them, only 'normal' people. Or people who shouldn't be there and arrived by chance.
9:26 I think what everyone is missing with that violin melody and the Man in Yellow. That Man ripped apart a throat with his bare hands, meaning he's one of the monsters, and he's outside during the day! meaning what if the violin melody just enabled all of the monsters to now walk around during the daytime as well as the nighttime. That would make for a great start to season 4.

I really hope they don't give the whole season out early again to TH-camrs. So many people making "predictions" that were too accurate for it to not have come from leaks. Some TH-camrs early this season "predicted" the numbers were part of a song. Way too close to just be a guess. I heard TH-camrs calling Julie a "storywalker" or whatever she's called a month ago.

The man in yellow, in my opinion, is a nod to The King in Yellow. A play about characters that descend into madness by being tormented by their fears and subtle yet relentless breaks from reality (kinda like the electricity and other small things they can’t explain in FROMtown) as they are doomed to repeat the cycle over and over. The king in yellow is a lovecraftian god of shepherds, and supposedly his true form looks like an octopus tentacle monster (much like the cave painting). The entire point of the play is to torment the characters, or rather there is no point to their torment other than the despair itself, and it seems like Hastur feeds on that cycle of hope and despair. After the latest episode of FROM it seems to me that these characters in the past sacrificed their children for immortality, unknowingly making a deal with a demonic/lovecraftian entity inspired by the king in yellow, and as a result of that deal they became like the characters in the play, trapped in a cycle of torment that feeds the entity. Thats why he toys with their fears, has monsters that don’t run or actually hunt the townspeople, and why there always has to be a steady supply of people within the town for things to work. He can’t feed off their torment or keep the monsters immortal if everyone were to escape. It seems to me that at some point, one of the children was “rescued” and that spirit became the boy in white. He is not malevolent or all knowing, rather he’s a naive kid that is doing the best to help the others, aka why he regrets helping Christopher. The characters like Christopher and Abby who have tried to kill everyone, they actually did wake up to the reality of things, and that was their solution to breaking the cycle and stopping the monster from reincarnating and trapping their souls over and over. It had to be everyone. The only reason it didn’t work during the last cycle is because Viktor remained alive. The monster rebuilt things, trapping everyone again, and fed off of Viktors fears or recreated them in reality to torment him and the others as well as fulfill the promise to keep the monsters immortal. It also seems like the monster keeps people like Martin as a contingency, hidden from the others and trapped in torment, specifically because of people like Christopher, so even if he had killed everyone it probably wouldn’t have been enough. It seems there are two sides to things, those souls that are trapped and want to escape, and the souls that would have readily sacrificed their children to become immortal (ie monsters). They are all trapped together but not everyone is aligned and the ones that appear as monsters do so because they accept that’s what they really are. It will be interesting to see what happens knowing Jades solution during his past iteration was to kill everyone. He will probably have a similar mental break as Christopher, now that he knows death is not the end. Much like what Randall said, death isn’t the worst that can happen to you there.

Tabitha is Miranda, but Miranda isn't the first one, she wasn't there when the original children were sacrificed. Every cycle is in the same mind, these other archetypes are just failed cycles. This cycle is different, because the mind we are in is finally remembering what really happened.

Jade playing music, using the energy of sound, the rebirth of the sungod during the winter solstice, the rebirth of Smiley, and the appearance of the man in yellow as Tabitha remembers the truth all happens simultaneously for reasons. The superego also emerges as a defence mechanism to resolve the Oedipus complex and represses the complex's strong feelings. That is why the man in yellow (superego) kills Jim (Oedipus complex). From is the stage in the subconscious, the Big Other, and the archetypes are performing in front of it to find the real circumstances leading to the children being sacrificed. For a comparison, just look at Lynch's Lost Highway. The man in black is the superego, and Mr. Eddy is the Oedipus complex. That's why it is the superego that shoots Mr Eddy while they are in Fred's subconscious and not the main character Fred killing Dick Laurent in real life. Because Mr. EddyEddy/Dick Laurent didn't really exist, it was the superego resolving the Oedipus complex. That's also the reason we have the cryptic message "Dick Laurent is dead" at the beginning and end of the movie because everything has already happened before Act 1. It also represents the closed loop, the mobius strip, which is also what Julie and the rope represent. We are just seeing the mind working out what is a real memory from what has been a fantasy or dream. And just like in real life, shedding light on darkness, unifying and recognizing your personalities, and "letting go" is the key message. It is the only way to raise your frequency to a higher level. Numbers = music = frequency = vibration = energy Understanding it is energy is more important than saying the numbers are music. We are all energy, and emotions are energy in motion. If you are trapped in a low frequency, it is like being trapped in a place full of monsters. The Yellow King needs a sacrifice for each cycle to set in motion the next. He has to orchestrate Jade & Tabitha's FAILURE repeatedly over & over. And corrupt a person into making a sacrifice to keep his evil growing & gathering others. The Yellow King cannot just kill the characters, his cycle would die & not repeat. Julie is a STORY WALKER=time traveler visiting the past & uses her little brother Ethan's storybook to OFFER HOPE even to the kids sacrificed centuries ago & OTHERS (a tree of hope/rainbows/lake of tears boats etc). So the Yellow King exploits SARA convincing her to try & kill little Ethan to destroy Julie's hopefully influence but fails. Jade foolishly played the violin SUMMONING the YELLOW KING who commented "Jade sure can play" then killed Julie's father to punish her for her "knowledge" even saying this. The Yellow King wants more human sacrifices but most continually stop Tabitha & Julie from saving the kids/ freeing their spirits.

The Yellow King cannot stop the reincarnation of Tabitha in each cycle or anyone else. So Tabitha & Julie would keep reincarnating & eventually find a way to free the kids ( it would just take a lot longer). And we could theorize that killing Ethan just means he will be REBORN again in the next cycle & find his book (or someone else will create HOPE & finally break the cycle). All Empires crumble to dust, eventually.

I kind of wish they would have moved this along a little further. It always takes FROM a whole season to provide info and that’s not given until the last episode of the season. I guess that’s what keeps people coming back

This was a beautiful crazy ending to season 3, and I can't wait to see what else from has to offer in the future. We finally met the man on yellow, and he was scary AF. Such a banger 😊
2:50 I always felt that image represented the town with the people in red representing the trapped and the people in white are living the real world and the two suns is what made me think that showing there are two worlds.
What I have to give credit to this show is that the clues are there however subtle they are and they leave you guessing. They require you to remember or “Anghkoey” all that has happened since season 1 and it’s frustrating but they got us hooked. It’s kind of like the show Lost but with this season finale we are at a better point than we were when season 3 rolled around for Lost. I do feel like season 4 should be the final season now but perhaps there’s a bigger picture we are not seeing.
Boy in white is the son of man in yellow and the kimono lady who were the first to sacrifice their child for immortality. Tabitha and Jade either made the conrtact and changerd their minds or somebody else sacrificed their daughter so they didnt turn into monsters lioe the others.

What you said is not true. Boyd gave him a talisman and told him about a cabin that he could live in. Frank then gave a speech at the choosing saying that he wanted to go in the box. Boyd never put him in the box. Forcing him to live in a cabin in the woods would have been immoral as well but you are sharing information that is not true.
The music they decoded and Jade played summoned the Ankoowie kids...but possibly also summoned the Man In Yellow as well. The Man In Yellow said "That Jade sure can play, can't he?" And "There's a cost for knowledge, Jim" as though it's all connected and Jim made it happen by deciphering the numbers I think there might be more than one town full of people. That would explain where some of the monsters disappear to- like Jasmine, Cowboy, the black debutante from episode seven, the teen that almost got Julie in episode two....
What a crazy episode! I was really expecting to get more info on the BIW and the backstory of the massacre but what we got made up for it! Smiley scene was 🤯 I think the man in yellow is either BIW grown up or most likely older Ethan. He even came from the RV where Ethan "almost" died.
He's becoming like Victor. The BIW chose Ethan just like he did Victor when he was young. I believe BIW saved Victor's life and also saved Ethan when he almost died in the RV. Now he has some sort of connection to them both.
The end is the beginning. The big tree in the road, the trees are moving according to Victor, the trees are losing their leaves and they never have before, the trees have bottles hanging on the branches, there are the far away trees. All about the trees! I'm happy they have a whole year to get the final season done, I'm hoping for an amazing end. Hopefully a happy one.
I posit that the main people are being reincarnated because they made the deal to become immortal (hence, they are immortal now); the 'monsters' are not the parents of the sacrificed children. The 'curse' effects the parents of the sacrificed children and all others, like Boyd's son, etc., are paying the price for the parents sins. I posit that this story does not end but keeps on going forever more (as we will see with Season 5).
The show creator also made LOST and one of the main themes from the ending of the show is no one goes through life and after life alone. You have to wait for the people who had the most impact in your life and when you’re all ready to move onto the after life, you do so together. I can see the resemblance of this show and LOST such as the Man in Black (LOST)/Man in Yellow

Why didn't they just wait until Elgin left to go to Fatima and just follow him? And that hole she dug gonna have a big part to play. Man in yellow was the same voice over the radio, and he said for her to stop digging.
The hole was filled in almost instantly. It was why the house collapsed in the way that it did. The first floor of the house collapsed and plugged the hole. The hole was plugged and then Jim,Tom, Randall and other guy started pulling the stuff out of the hole so the rest of the house collapsed to ensure that the hole stayed plugged. He didn't say that she should stop digging. He said that she never should have dug that hole. It was far too late at that point.
We know Julie has time traveling “powers” because she went to the dungeon. I believe Randal was given the cicada infection. Idk what the other girl got she might become the lady that helps gives birth to the monsters. Tabitha,Julie because critical parts of the from story but we have yet to find out the significance of Ethan. Since victor and Ethan is tabithas sons I think it’s safe to say that victors sister might be lost in time. and once we find out the significance of victor and his back story we might find out there connection to the boy in white since they both seen him and Ethan seen him when he first got there.
There was a scene of Julie and Ethan speaking at the Diner just before Jim was killed. In that scene she asks Ethan to accompany her to the ruins again. If Julie has come back running for Jim, where is Ethan? From where did the man in yellow show up in flesh and blood? Did he use Ethan to resurrect? Or, is Ethan himself the man in yellow reincarnated and thats the reason why the boy in white was visible to him from even before he arrived to Fromville.

random thought, but, the talismans or the symbols on them stop the monsters form entering the house right? Why don't the townspeople just get the symbol tatted on them? Wouldn't that theoretically prevent the monster from attacking or getting close to you?
the talismans only work when hanging on inclosed spaces, like if you carried a sleeping bag everywhere it would probably still work if you attached one
So yall saying the talisman only work with an outer inclosure, so with that logic, if someone wore overalls, like head to toe covered with talisman attached, it should technically work
What if julie went back in time where they saw the tree at episode 1 and instead of going back she convince jim tabitha to instead walk over the tree since no one ever go past it before..
What if the Jade playing Violin also unlocked the man in yellow because he came out just after that violin playing. I've noticed that whenever the town people go somewhere new or try something new it unlocks a new nightmare. Just like that belle music box unlocked cicadas. Boyd tried to kiling smiley end up in the pregnancy of Fatima and rebirth of smiley.
I’ve been saying forever that they need to cut the damn trees down! I’ve been the only one to say this on several channels and I truly believe that’s what needs to be done. There’s hints towards my theory…..the fallen tree that signifies when they are now trapped, Kenny cut down a tree, Victor hacked at one, hope feeds the place and the kids have hope poured in the trees. The show uses lots of lore from many different cultures and in some lore cutting down trees has a symbolic meaning: “Cutting down trees can symbolize the destruction of nature, disruption of balance, or even the conquering of a powerful force associated with the forest. “ I found that on a Google search. Pay attention to the last line…..
Now the scene a couple episodes ago in the bar with Jim, Jade, and Henry is more interesting since they have all been married to the same soul/person the advice from Henry to Jim and Jade snapping on Jim is all from their past experiences

He is trapped here and helps people to save other kids too, so that all other souls gets free. He was the one who told victor to not to cut the faraway tree because it's the only way to escape.

Previously people in the town had those who were apart of their life end up in the town as well. Think some are just collateral damage like when Tabitha and Victor's dad got sent back to the town. And the cop was there with them.
Cicadas respond to time and maturation. What causes the collision of two worlds? Waiting for another building to plop down. Why do the monsters stop short of breaking windows or doors OR setting bldgs ablaze to wait for prey to emerge? Being polite?
Now it makes sense when that monster was on that porch and asked Julie "you don't remeber me?" She was story walking and ran into him. And I think when sara was told to kill the boy? I think that was for the boy in white, not Ethan And ima give credit to Teflon tv! He said that the numbers were musical notes when Ethan asked Jade why were some of the numbers backwards! When in a tv show they insert the "maybe"....it makes me think that Eloise is alive. but... Why did The Boy in White want Tabby to go to the real world to get Henry? why tabby didn't have to dig under the house ? the presence of a black character among the monsters only in the first season makes me think that the idea of the pact for immortality came to the writers' minds at a later time, it would not have been possible among the first inhabitants of fromville
Is it possible that every female monster is a version of Tabitha, and every male monster is a version of Jade. It never said the monsters turned together. After all of this what if the children that need to be saved is Julie and Ethan.My theory is Julie is the child that could not be saved. From season 1 she always had this rebellious spirit but with everything that has happened and her being able to time travel she's trying to prevent things on her own. For Ethan I think his saving is emotionally he's been the misunderstood kid from the beginning with only victor but he will need the strength of everyone to not repeat the cycle and end up like victor being full of regret, it is going to be interesting to see his story line Without his dad now and where it goes emotionally. I also think the cycle will not break unless everyone comes together because selfishness of the towns people is what caused this to begin with .They will need a plan and with this new information the will need to think that each decision they make effects everyone because clearly the town chooses you. They have to understand their purpose and stop venturing on their own .

Im trying to wrap my head around something: How did Victor and Eloise not realize he had another sister? If Tabitha and Christopher had a daughter who was sacrificed, wouldn't Victor and his sister be aware of her existence? I've had a Theory that is really far fetched IMO but it might be real. This whole show was about connections, Tabitha and Miranda, Jade and Christopher. So i believe not only do the townspeople have conenctions with past townspeople but also have connections with current townspeople. Stuff like how they are chosen and everyone has connection. For example Victor was there for a long time and then henry came. I believe the town chose people that are connected. Ok so for the actual theory, I theorise that Jim Matthews Might be Ethan's dad. I don't think y'all know what an actual "Filler" episode is. Go watch the LOST episode EXPOSE...that is an actual Filler episode. True "filler" episodes do nothing to push the narrative arc or characters forward, may not have anything to do with any of the main or side characters, and even the setting may be different. Each of the eps in FROM pushed the story forward, developed character, gave answers to small questions and even some big questions. Each episode had at least 3-4 scenes that, if missed, would make you ask questions to understand the current situation. The other scenes are more for character, theme, and setting development and are the main reason why people get connected to a show. Also the 2026 release date thing is not official and came from an article speculating on when S4 may come out. 2026 is only 13.5 months away and there were 15 months between the end of S2 and start of S3 as well as a 6 month writers and actors strikes.. Hell S3 didn't even start filming till February 2024 and was released 7 months later. If they could do S3 that fast they can do it again with S4

Basically, everyone who comes into this town is somehow connected to their past lives over and over again. That’s why they keep seeing the tree die and come back infinitely. I’m assuming the only way to break the cycle is to kill the man in yellow. He probably sacrificed his son, the boy in white, for immortality and convinced everyone else to do the same. Instead of becoming immortal, he took all the powers for himself.
They might reveal that Elgin is a soldier because the same events keep repeating, like the eye incident being spoken of. Whatever they do, the same fate ends up happening to them. I’ve seen this concept before in Dark. I remember one character appearing in four separate timelines, and in each, he was missing either a leg or a hand. Freeing the children won’t help, but destroying the main source will.

I have a theory about the tree that brings everyone to the town, what if the tree is a faraway tree that was previously cut down by someone, and just by getting close to it, the tree takes them to the town, and because it got cut down it only works as a one way tree, and the reason why the boy in white stopped victor is because if he cuts that tree down there’s no way out

- The monsters don't attack people who belong to the city. Only others. For example, people who have visions, hear voices or cicadas are not killed. I know that the monsters didn't kill Handall and Boyd when they could so they could break Boyd... so he would feel guilty. However, even when Boyd kills Smile, no one attacks him. I don't remember anyone with this connection to the city being killed by them, only 'normal' people. Or people who shouldn't be there and arrived by chance.

That Man ripped apart a throat with his bare hands, meaning he's one of the monsters, and he's outside during the day! meaning what if the violin melody just enabled all of the monsters to now walk around during the daytime as well as the nighttime. The man in yellow, in my opinion, is a nod to The King in Yellow. A play about characters that descend into madness by being tormented by their fears and subtle yet relentless breaks from reality (kinda like the electricity and other small things they can’t explain in FROMtown) as they are doomed to repeat the cycle over and over.
The king in yellow is a lovecraftian god of shepherds, and supposedly his true form looks like an octopus tentacle monster (much like the cave painting). The entire point of the play is to torment the characters, or rather there is no point to their torment other than the despair itself, and it seems like Hastur feeds on that cycle of hope and despair.
After the latest episode of FROM it seems to me that these characters in the past sacrificed their children for immortality, unknowingly making a deal with a demonic/lovecraftian entity inspired by the king in yellow, and as a result of that deal they became like the characters in the play, trapped in a cycle of torment that feeds the entity. Thats why he toys with their fears, has monsters that don’t run or actually hunt the townspeople, and why there always has to be a steady supply of people within the town for things to work. He can’t feed off their torment or keep the monsters immortal if everyone were to escape. It seems to me that at some point, one of the children was “rescued” and that spirit became the boy in white. He is not malevolent or all knowing, rather he’s a naive kid that is doing the best to help the others, aka why he regrets helping Christopher. The characters like Christopher and Abby who have tried to kill everyone, they actually did wake up to the reality of things, and that was their solution to breaking the cycle and stopping the monster from reincarnating and trapping their souls over and over. It had to be everyone. The only reason it didn’t work during the last cycle is because Viktor remained alive. The monster rebuilt things, trapping everyone again, and fed off of Viktors fears or recreated them in reality to torment him and the others as well as fulfill the promise to keep the monsters immortal. It also seems like the monster keeps people like Martin as a contingency, hidden from the others and trapped in torment, specifically because of people like Christopher, so even if he had killed everyone it probably wouldn’t have been enough.
It seems there are two sides to things, those souls that are trapped and want to escape, and the souls that would have readily sacrificed their children to become immortal (ie monsters). They are all trapped together but not everyone is aligned and the ones that appear as monsters do so because they accept that’s what they really are. It will be interesting to see what happens knowing Jades solution during his past iteration was to kill everyone. He will probably have a similar mental break as Christopher, now that he knows death is not the end. Much like what Randall said, death isn’t the worst that can happen to you there.

The moment that seals it is the appearance of the man in Yellow, which represents the superego.
Before we get there, the key word is "remember," "This is the clincher also." Everything has already happened, there is no time travel or reincarnation, there is just the loop of false memories the mind is stuck in, and every archetype is just another failed cycle, not a reincarnation This cycle is different because they are remembering the repressed truth instead of living a fantasy. That's why the place is changing. The place is also changing because of the overall narrative. Jade playing music, using the energy of sound, the rebirth of the sungod during the winter solstice, the rebirth of Smiley, and the appearance of the man in yellow as Tabitha remembers the truth all happens simultaneously for reasons.
Jade and Christopher embody the magician archetype just like Tabitha and Miranda are the hero archetypes. The mind has been recreating archetypes to perform in front of the Big Other. Other characters, like Jim, are not archetypes. They are complexes (Archetypes are from the collective unconscious and complexes are from the personal unconscious)
The Boy in White is the unconscious self, and the monsters are the repressed trauma, the people responsible for the child sacrifices. The man in yellow is the superego, and Jim wasn't real. He was the Oedipus complex.
That's why they said they aren't your kids, that's why he staggered when he realizes he isn't real, that's why we have that flashback of him saying sometimes I remember when it wasn't like this. When Tabitha remembered the truth, Jim (Oedipus complex) became irrelevant. The superego is a cruel, harsh, and prosecuting force. The superego also emerges as a defence mechanism to resolve the Oedipus complex and represses the complex's strong feelings. That is why the man in yellow (superego) kills Jim (Oedipus complex). From is the stage in the subconscious, the Big Other, and the archetypes are performing in front of it to find the real circumstances leading to the children being sacrificed.
For a comparison, just look at Lynch's Lost Highway. The man in black is the superego, and Mr. Eddy is the Oedipus complex. That's why it is the superego that shoots Mr Eddy while they are in Fred's subconscious and not the main character Fred killing Dick Laurent in real life. Because Mr. EddyEddy/Dick Laurent didn't really exist, it was the superego resolving the Oedipus complex. That's also the reason we have the cryptic message "Dick Laurent is dead" at the beginning and end of the movie because everything has already happened before Act 1. It also represents the closed loop, the mobius strip, which is also what Julie and the rope represent.
We are just seeing the mind working out what is a real memory from what has been a fantasy or dream. And just like in real life, shedding light on darkness, unifying and recognizing your personalities, and "letting go" is the key message. It is the only way to raise your frequency to a higher level.

The Yellow King needs a sacrifice for each cycle to set in motion the next. He has to orchestrate Jade & Tabitha's FAILURE repeatedly over & over. And corrupt a person into making a sacrifice to keep his evil growing & gathering others. The Yellow King cannot just kill the characters, his cycle would die & not repeat. Julie is a STORY WALKER=time traveler visiting the past & uses her little brother Ethan's storybook to OFFER HOPE even to the kids sacrificed centuries ago & OTHERS (a tree of hope/rainbows/lake of tears boats etc). So the Yellow King exploits SARA convincing her to try & kill little Ethan to destroy Julie's hopefully influence but fails. Jade foolishly played the violin SUMMONING the YELLOW KING who commented "Jade sure can play" then killed Julie's father to punish her for her "knowledge" even saying this. The Yellow King wants more human sacrifices but most continually stop Tabitha & Julie from saving the kids/ freeing their spirits.

The Yellow King cannot stop the reincarnation of Tabitha in each cycle or anyone else. And we could theorize that killing Ethan just means he will be REBORN again in the next cycle & find his book (or someone else will create HOPE & finally break the cycle). They require you to remember or “Anghkoey” all that has happened since season 1 and it’s frustrating but they got us hooked. It’s kind of like the show Lost but with this season finale we are at a better point than we were when season 3 rolled around for Lost. I do feel like season 4 should be the final season now but perhaps there’s a bigger picture we are not seeing.

What you said is not true. Boyd gave him a talisman and told him about a cabin that he could live in. Frank then gave a speech at the choosing saying that he wanted to go in the box. The music they decoded and Jade played summoned the Ankoowie kids...but possibly also summoned the Man In Yellow as well.

I think there might be more than one town full of people. That would explain where some of the monsters disappear to- like Jasmine, Cowboy, the black debutante from episode seven, the teen that almost got Julie in episode two....
What a crazy episode! I was really expecting to get more info on the BIW and the backstory of the massacre but what we got made up for it! Smiley scene was 🤯 I think the man in yellow is either BIW grown up or most likely older Ethan. He even came from the RV where Ethan "almost" died.

He's becoming like Victor. The BIW chose Ethan just like he did Victor when he was young. I believe BIW saved Victor's life and also saved Ethan when he almost died in the RV. Now he has some sort of connection to them both.
The end is the beginning. The big tree in the road, the trees are moving according to Victor, the trees are losing their leaves and they never have before, the trees have bottles hanging on the branches, there are the far away trees. All about the trees! I'm happy they have a whole year to get the final season done, I'm hoping for an amazing end. Hopefully a happy one.
I posit that the main people are being reincarnated because they made the deal to become immortal (hence, they are immortal now); the 'monsters' are not the parents of the sacrificed children. The 'curse' effects the parents of the sacrificed children and all others, like Boyd's son, etc., are paying the price for the parents sins. I posit that this story does not end but keeps on going forever more (as we will see with Season 5).
The show creator also made LOST and one of the main themes from the ending of the show is no one goes through life and after life alone. You have to wait for the people who had the most impact in your life and when you’re all ready to move onto the after life, you do so together. I can see the resemblance of this show and LOST such as the Man in Black (LOST)/Man in Yellow

The hole was filled in almost instantly. It was why the house collapsed in the way that it did. The first floor of the house collapsed and plugged the hole. The hole was plugged and then Jim,Tom, Randall and other guy started pulling the stuff out of the hole so the rest of the house collapsed to ensure that the hole stayed plugged. He didn't say that she should stop digging. He said that she never should have dug that hole. It was far too late at that point.

Tabitha,Julie because critical parts of the from story but we have yet to find out the significance of Ethan. Since victor and Ethan is tabithas sons I think it’s safe to say that victors sister might be lost in time. and once we find out the significance of victor and his back story we might find out there connection to the boy in white since they both seen him and Ethan seen him when he first got there.
In that case, boy in white may be Thomas and he is the one who really calls Jim on phone.
In season 1, episode 1, before they see the tree, Julie loses signal. But Ethan's phone seem to still gettibg signal.
There was a scene of Julie and Ethan speaking at the Diner just before Jim was killed. In that scene she asks Ethan to accompany her to the ruins again.
If Julie has come back running for Jim, where is Ethan? From where did the man in yellow show up in flesh and blood? Did he use Ethan to resurrect? Or, is Ethan himself the man in yellow reincarnated and thats the reason why the boy in white was visible to him from even before he arrived to Fromville.
Notice julies hair and clothes were different, so that's definitely a Julie from a different time frame.

I’ve been saying forever that they need to cut the damn trees down! I’ve been the only one to say this on several channels and I truly believe that’s what needs to be done. There’s hints towards my theory…..the fallen tree that signifies when they are now trapped, Kenny cut down a tree, Victor hacked at one, hope feeds the place and the kids have hope poured in the trees. The show uses lots of lore from many different cultures and in some lore cutting down trees has a symbolic meaning:

Is it possible that every female monster is a version of Tabitha, and every male monster is a version of Jade. It never said the monsters turned together. Plus, it seems like their clothing is mainly different generations, with a male and female both being from the same year. It could be when miranda and Christopher died because they didn't want to sacrifice their kids because they knew it happened before.

After all of this what if the children that need to be saved is Julie and Ethan.My theory is Julie is the child that could not be saved. From season 1 she always had this rebellious spirit but with everything that has happened and her being able to time travel she's trying to prevent things on her own. For Ethan I think his saving is emotionally he's been the misunderstood kid from the beginning with only victor but he will need the strength of everyone to not repeat the cycle and end up like victor being full of regret, it is going to be interesting to see his story line Without his dad now and where it goes emotionally. I also think the cycle will not break unless everyone comes together because selfishness of the towns people is what caused this to begin with .They will need a plan and with this new information the will need to think that each decision they make effects everyone because clearly the town chooses you. They have to understand their purpose and stop venturing on their own .

Im trying to wrap my head around something: How did Victor and Eloise not realize he had another sister? If Tabitha and Christopher had a daughter who was sacrificed, wouldn't Victor and his sister be aware of her existence? I've had a Theory that is really far fetched IMO but it might be real.
This whole show was about connections, Tabitha and Miranda, Jade and Christopher. So i believe not only do the townspeople have conenctions with past townspeople but also have connections with current townspeople. Stuff like how they are chosen and everyone has connection. For example Victor was there for a long time and then henry came. I believe the town chose people that are connected. Ok so for the actual theory, I theorise that Jim Matthews Might be Ethan's dad. I Know its really far fetched cause of how little Jim seems to care about Ethan but think about it.
