    Headphone cueing IS pretty consisting on most DJ-mixers, except on the XONE 92... Something I realized a short while ago, after 33 years as a DJ. Visiting a friend in the booth, he desperately needed a 5 minute break, and as he cued the next track, he asked me to do the transition... No probs... except I need both tracks in my headphones initiating the transition to get the tracks perfectly matched. For some reason, some idiot at A&H thought that single press on/off each headphone cue button was too easy, so a simultaneous double press is needed to activate two channels at the same time, or activating one, will just switch the other one off. Probably one of the most stupid way of doing something very simple, turning it to RTFM, I've experienced ever on a DJ mixer. I have used a ton of different mixers over the years, and i don't mind using them again, except for the XONE 92. There were a few more things about it that were just too reversed and backwards thinking without any obvious reason that made me never wanna use this mixer again. I really hope A&H has a more standard approach on their other mixers as I really like the newer DB5 from what I've seen and read about it.

    Very interesting video. Just bought DJ Pro for ipad just to play a little with deejaying. Is the low frequency EQ the most important control to adjust when fading to Deck B? Thanks

    • @clarkngo7138
      @clarkngo7138 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Michael Petersen yes. at the start of the mixing, first 8 counts introduce deck B, second 8 counts make deck B at full level and make the low frequency EQ of deck A to 50%. third 8 counts reduce deck A, then last/fourth 8 counts fade deck A. total of 32 counts. =D thats just the basics though, there are many ways to mix.
