If you are playing with just friends in a cat and mouse mobile Sam hunting game with pilots vs SAM/AAA then yes it's very fun and can be done using combined arms dlc. You need to set the unit as drivable in the mission editor and it works better to add tactical commander roles to the side with the drivable vehicles.
Whats your go-to AAA unit for modern combat? I love the Shilka, simple and effective.

The Kdo.Ger.40 was a German range finder that was designed to be used with the heavy flak batteries with either 8.8cm Flak 18 or 12.8cm Flak 40 guns.

Just put a bmp3 or type04 down, they will kill every plane under 5000 ft with no look , no acquisition time, 100% kill shots.
I haven't found them to be very effective against planes, but helicopters have a bad day when they are in the area.
